I called H man electric because our furnace stopped working and I needed someone to come ASAP to fix it. They sent me one their electricians and fixed my furnace in couple of hours. He was on time and professional. I recommend them for any electrical work

My husband and I were totally naive when we embarked on a full gut-job condo reno, having no idea of the challenges and delays that managing contractors and dealing with the building board would create.

Hooman was the diamond in the rough amongst all the contractors we worked with. From even the quoting stage he arrived when he said he would, quickly wrote down everything we were discussing, and submitted to a formal quote to us within 24 hours. Although he wasn't THE cheapest, he was still highly competitive and the difference in professionalism was DRASTIC.

When he began the work he showed up with a small army who worked quickly and cleanly.
When we discovered that we would have to create a junction box instead of rewire some lights as originally planned, he only charged us his cost for this change.

When the other trades were finally done and we were ready for him to come back, again he showed up for an inventory, and returned the following week with his small army who amazingly got all of the remaining work done in 1 day.

Hooman really saved my sanity on this project and I would recommend him highly to anyone starting a reno.

Called H man electric asking for some information. H man drove out to my home and gave me some suggestions and general pricing. They look fantastic... so good my neighbor decided to do his also! Overall, it's been a great experience working with H man and his team. I'm sure I'll have more electrical/lighting work to be done in the upcoming years and I'll definitely use them again

great job done by H MAN ELECTRIC . They were on time and were done in 6 hours. Our living room,dining room & kitchen look great. They have great customer service & provide 5 year warranty on everything installed. Hope to enjoy the beautiful lights for many years.

Came home to find Bell had accidentally cut a main trunk. Whole street was out. After Hydro fixed, whole street was back, but we were still out.

Many hours later, finally got Hydro to come back to check. Apparently something shorted on the meter box, the whole meter blew right off the box, looked like a charcoal briquette. Hydro guys took the fried meter and basically told me, you're on your own. I needed to repair the electrical box first before they would come back to install a new meter. I HAVE NO ELECTRICITY!!!

Next morning, I searched and found H Man Electric. Spoke with Hooman. Very courteous. He was able to come that day and make repairs. Hooman was prompt but he was still at the mercy of the Hydro guys who had to come and shut off the main power from the street. Hooman got the job done and coordinated the ESA certification. Later that night, the Hydro guys finally showed up and got us up and running.

In a situations like this, I've been raked over the coals before by many repair guys because you NEEDED them.

Hooman did great work and charged us a fair price. Very impressed, Highly recommend.

Hooman installed 4 potlights in the bedroom and 2 in the washroom as well as a dimmer in the dining area. He was very professional, pleasant and polite. He left everything clean which exceeded my expectations. I am VERY happy. I would highly recommend Hman Electrics!

Required light connection and installation in a small room. Ceiling is exposed concrete and the electrical board was not in a convenient place. Hooman came by and quickly suggested options that limited the amount of holes in the wall and reduced the amount of wiring required to run on the ceiling.

He took pride in his work and made sure he was completely satisfied with the work (even with things I didn't even notice until he mentioned it). The process was very smooth, the finish is spotless, especially with the exposed concrete, and very reasonably priced.

I hired Hooman to install an electric car charger earlier this year when the government rebate was still available. He promptly came and did the installation and he was quite nice and personable.

However, he promised me that he would schedule a date for the ESA inspection to be done so that I could get the government rebate.

Weeks past and I did not hear from him. I probably sent him close to 10 emails and called him over 5 times to find out what was going on. Each time I got him on the phone, he told me that he would schedule the inspection. Twice, he even gave me a specific time/date but he did not come! I actually had my wife stay at home anticipating he would come but he did not! It was extremely unprofessional.

Finally, he did charge me a rate with tax and promised me an invoice (which I needed for my rebate) but I did not even get an invoice from him, despite asking every time I contacted him.

I finally gave up, as the government incentive was cancelled and quite honestly, I grew so frustrated and tired at whole situation.

I must admit my charger is working just fine, but its clear to me that after he got my money, he wasn't interested in delivering what he promised when there was no further incentive for him to do so.

Update: I heard back from H Man Electric after posting this review. They said to me that the company was going through a lot of changes and that they apologized for all the inconvenience it caused. They offered to refund the 50% I would have received from the government incentive and still arrange an ESA inspection. They have been true to their word.

It was still extremely an extremely frustrating experience but I appreciate that they have taken steps to rectify the situation. Albeit this was only done after I posted a negative review. I want to believe that they were going through a busy/rough patch as the rest of their reviews have been good. Hooman did actually install the charger and cleaned everything up and did a good job. As such, I have given them a 7/10 as I do believe in giving people a second chance.

We are extremely satisfied with the experience H MAN ELECTRIC provided for us. The workers arrived early in the morning and stayed until late evening, completing their tasks with no hesitation. They are very dedicated to finishing their job in an organized and clean way, no matter how long it takes, providing us with a polished and classy final look! Aside from work, they also had excellent customer service since they are approachable and friendly. Overall, we are extremely happy with the final result and will defintely recommend the company to friends and family!
