J and J Moving Company

I used J & J twice in one week and was very happy with the friendly and prompt service. We just installed some new flooring in the basement. The first day of installation I realized we would need help to shift our stuff out of our storage area in the evening once the installers were gone, in preparation for the next day. I put out the call on Homestars, and J & J happily provided a couple of guys to come that evening for 2 hours, at a very reasonable price. The next week we decided to move much of this stuff to a self-storage unit. I contacted J & J on Saturday and they were here three days later for a 4 hour job. Scott and Peter were very friendly, careful with our stuff and hard-working. Highly recommended!

The crew we got from J&J worked very hard and got us into our new home in dramatically less time than we anticipated. Before they arrived my spouse was almost crying because she thought our move was impossible, and after J&J left, she almost cried at how easy it was and that it was all done. That, I would say, is as good a validation as any. Highly recommended.

There was not a single moment when they slouched or slacked off; they took their job seriously and it showed.

What struck me most was the respect they showed for all of my belongings. They treated each piece as if it were their own, meticulously wrapping delicate items and carefully placing them in their truck. It was evident they took great pride in their work. Even the loading and unloading were executed with precision and care.

All said and done, this was hands down the best moving experience Ive had in all my years. I can't thank Scotty and his team enough for turning what usually is a dreadful process into a smooth and stress-free event. contacted J and J moving 2 days before the actual move and they were nice enough to accommodate to my timing and arrived early on Saturday, it was the best moving experience that I had, stress free and Scotty was soo professional, understanding and accommodating. He made sure every thing gets wrapped and moved with out a hassle, even though we had an issue with the building elevator scotty made no fuss about it.

Reached out to J and J moving after reading reviews here. The set up my move day was a very easy process. Laid out the hourly costs prior to booking with them and what would be included. The 2 man move team arrived just before my booking time and got right to work. They Packed up everything for storage in a storage facility with no issues. Unloading was a breeze and they packed up my storage unit efficiently allowing me to still get at some items as needed.

This was my first time ever using movers and it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needed any kind of moving services.

J and J Moving were punctual, friendly, and efficient people who infinitely eased the stress of our move. They took great care to wrap up our furniture, and were very careful with bulky items as to not damage the walls. And the amount of labor they did in just under 3 hours to move the contents of our 1 bedroom apartment was astounding, especially on a hot summer day. Will definitely be recommending them to friends from now on!

Our job was handled with care and in a timely manner. We needed a large van to go to several stops around Toronto, then head up to our job site that was 2.5 hours away all in one day. We were very pleased when everything arrived in a great condition and they even managed to make it before 2:00pm. We will definitely be using J and J Moving again in the near future.
