We hired Anthony from his great reviews here on Homestars and are certainly glad we did. Having never done stone work before, we had only vague ideas about what we wanted and needed. Anthony showed up with books and plans and troubleshooted our very challenging grade. We ended up with 2 sets of stairs and a low retaining wall along our pathway, which he and his brothers executed perfectly. Anthony always answers a call, shows up when he says he will and is a general pleasure to have on site. We wouldn't hesitate to have him and his brothers back for future work. Thanks again for everything. Our home looks fabulous!

We are very disappointed in the work done by Nick and his team. We had hired Nick to install a section of fence as well as sod the backyard.
The fence work is poor and incomplete. Sections have screws sticking out, the fence gate does not shut as it too heavy for the post that was installed, the posts installed are not leveled nor have they been properly trimmed and finished, etc.
After numerous back and forth texts and confirmations on their end of returning to complete/fix the work, they have yet to come by to do so.

Nick and his crew did an amazing job on my backyard. They took out the old and ugly interlock and replaced it with the new and modern. I left design and pattern up to Nick and I was not let down. He even went over and above to add some top soil at the end of the patio so I have the option of adding flowers or shrubs to enhance the look of my backyard. The crew were fast and efficient and cleaned up their mess. I would recommend this company to anybody!!

We hired AVL landscaping to reset the stones on our driveway and also the flag stones on the steps leading up to the main entrance of the house.
Anthony and his crew did a fantastic job. Everything was clearly explained to us before we signed the contract and the pricing was very reasonable.
Anthony kept us informed of the progress every day. The crew cleaned up the place at the end of each day and did not leave any garbage, behind.
I would strongly recommend Anthony and his team and will definitely call them again for future projects.

AVL was hired to remove and replace 12 interlocking steps leading to the front entrance of my home which had seen better days. Anthony and his team of one replaced the existing steps with one piece natural stone risers. He listened to our wants and went out of his way to deliver the finished product which we requested. The steps are safe to use again and the finished product looks great! The steps have already received compliments from our neighbours. I would recommend AVL for your landscaping needs.

We hired AVL to replace the existing 24" concrete paver style slab front walkway to our new home with interlocking and flagstone. They did a great job sloping everything away from the foundations and it looks great. Very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Minor deficiencies were promptly repaired and the final product looks amazing. Highly recommended!

Our old interlock wall was leaning onto the neighbours’ side and at risk of collapsing. We also had front interlock steps that kept shifting out of place, making them wobbly and creating an unsafe gap. We saw the AVL guys working on a large project on our street and asked for a quote. The timeline and price quoted were reasonable. It’s also hard to find companies that can work on these smaller projects. They started when they said they would and the crew worked long hours to finish ahead of schedule. Very respectable crew and very knowledgeable. The wall is nice and straight and looks new! The front steps are now very steady! Would recommend this company!

AVL Landscape did an amazing job in removing old interlock from the driveway, digging out to level the area and creating a new interlock driveway, walkway and small retaining walls. The quality of the workmanship was high and they were very reliable and dependable. They arrived when scheduled and worked long days to complete the project. They are young men who are very respectful and eager to do a good job. Nick provided suggestions for the awkward space and everything worked out extremely well. Several of my neighbors have commented how good everything now looks. I would have no hesitation to hire them for any future work.

Having AVL landscaping complete the work at my home was one of the best decsisions I have made in my experience with home modifications. The guys from the company were great and very accommodating as well as trustworthy. I left the job in there hands where they gave me a detailed breakdown of the work to be completed and explained it in a manner where I was able to understand the project as well as how they planned on taking it on. AVL Landscape provided my newly purchased home with a beautiful interlock driveway extension, 2 steps to the front patio, along with re-sod the back yard with patio slab installation. Provided excellent service, worked in rain when need be, and completed the job efficiently in a timely matter. Recommend hire for all landscape needs.
