Amana Garage Door

Needed a new garage door for a 1940's era garage. Existing '70's era garage door had been jury-rigged by previous home owner, and existing '90's era garage door opener had been jury-rigged by us.
Amana took the whole mess, installed a new door, managed all the strange structural issues, properly installed the garage door opener and made it all pretty.
A good job for a fair price, and none of the sleazy under-the-table issues that seem to abound in this area of renovations.

Amana Garage Door is a pleasure to deal with, they are also, professional, accommodating, and timely. The garage door we were replacing was not even a garage door, it was a stud wall on hinges. I have been looking for 20 years for somebody that even wanted to take this job. I finally found a few contractors on HomeStars that would quote on it, but Amana was the only company that would do the whole job the way we wanted it and would actually provide the door that we wanted. They do not shy away from work, and are just as eager as the homeowner to have the job completed properly. They removed the dilapidated door and took it away, reframed the new door, raised the joists inside to make room for the new tracks. and installed the new door quickly. They also had aluminum cladding added to the frame, for a maintenance free finish. Their price was comparable to the other quotes. Choosing Amana was an easy decision.

Needed a new torsion spring in a short turnaround time because ours snapped the night before. The morning of I submitted an inquiry and received a call within 15min by Mohammed who said he could be onsite within a few hours. Arrived on time and the job was done in 30-45min to my satisfaction at a reasonable price. Mohammed explained the maintenance of the springs and other moving parts and was on his way. Exceptional customer service. If I have any garage door issues in the future I won't look anywhere else.

Great customer service with returned phone calls and regular updates on order. Clean, professional installation of the doors and the trim and caulking installed professionally as well. Doors look great, customer service was excellent and a fair price for high end Garaga brand doors. Not sure what more anyone could ask for. Increased curb appeal of house immensely. My garage opener decided to die on me, and after opening my garage door by hand for about a week, the spring snapped too. I got several quotes on Homestars and decided to go with Amana for the replacement/repair. Mohammed came in the morning of Canada Day and replaced 2 springs, installed a new garage opener and recommended and completed some minor repairs as well. Mohammed was polite and kind, and did a great job. I'm very happy with the work and would recommend him to anyone!
