Jack, owner of Sandstrom Construction, was recommended to me over a contact in BC, from an internet search. From the 1st telephone interaction, it was clear that he was attentive to my expressed needs, and he gained my trust. Jack made himself available and responded to texts, calls and emails on a timely basis. He listened to my vision, heard my hesitations due to cost of the top choice among a few options that he proposed, and found the way to access sales pricing for materials in order to make it affordable for me to go ahead for the option of my choice. Jack is an accomplished and trusted professional. His communication skills and creative ideas, his display of experience and reliable team of workers to execute the project in a timely fashion, were flawless at every step of the project. The Customer service aspect of carrying business with his clients, is first rate at Sandstrom Construction.

We are very happy with our new deck railings. I researched different companies and had a few people provide estimates but Railings Columns Decks gave us the most competitive price and made us feel confident in what they recommended that we do. They were very professional, personable and put us at ease. They followed up with us after the job to make sure that we were completely satisfied. We shared with our neighbour how impressed we were with this company and after consulting with them she had her deck done at the same time. We highly recommend them.

Sandstorm provided excellent service, their craftsmanship and passion for what they do really shines in the finish product! The cedar ceiling in the front entrance is absolutely spectacular, it is a beautiful feature for any home. All of the work performed was beyond expectations. We are extremely pleased with Sandstorm and would highly recommend their services to anyone needing railings, columns and decks!

This being an unusual year (2020 and covid holding things up), it took a little while from the initial measurements to a complete installation (8 weeks), but I am very pleased with the outcome. The neighbors are complimenting on how nice they look. Jack and Steve were great to deal with and I would highly recommend this company.

We had to replace old railing on our front steps. Stephen was great over the phone. He made me feel, that indeed, no job was too small and came over to give me an estimate. He has a good eye. We picked out a railing style and colour which best suited the house. I asked about a gate for the pets. I was so pleased with the quote I went for it. Jack, co-owner, followed up with fine detail. Steve, their installer, worked diligently on a very hot day. The end result...Gorgeous!

Stephen and his team did an amazing job replacing my old wood columns and installing aluminum ones. The work they did on the new railings was first class. Great price for the work and job was completed in one day. Definitely recommend them.

Stephen was great on time and did what he said, I wasnt happy with a particular part of the column so I called him and he came 2 days later and took care of the issue....good work
