I had hardwood installed upstairs. The work was done quickly and efficiently. The installers were professional and friendly. Very pleased with the job.

LIlla was very responsive to meeting me on a tight timeline, recommended products "on sale" and had the workers on site within 10 days. I chose bamboo that went over existing hardwood and the work was done fast and professionally. Sanding and staining stairs, however, was a messier job that resulted in a lot of dust. I would have liked a warning to seal off doorways in advance. The stain also went onto existing side moldings - but I was repainting anyway so it wasn't a huge problem. The match to the new hardwood is very good. The work is beautiful and I am very pleased with the outcome. Lilla kept me informed and asked me to make decisions real-time which kept the project timeline down.

After seeking a few quotes, we decided to hire Z and G because out contact Lilla was personable, clear and frank, and she took the time to listen and understand what we were looking for in terms of price, materials, and timelines. She also quickly visited our home and gave us a competitive and neatly itemized quote. The work itself was done quickly and well, and for not a dollar over the original price. Thank you Lilla!

Z&G was very responsive in moving up our installation date when getting the flooring down in our kitchen and family room area. The crew was very professional and meticulous in their work. They returned a few weeks later to lay hardwood in our hall, living room, dining room and office areas. There was a slight miscommunication in regards to when the demolition crew was to arrive but it worked out fine. I have a lot of reno experience and found their workmanship very good and prices reasonable. Worth getting a quote from Lilla.

Despite the challenges of working in the middle of a whole house Reno the installation went very well. Our new engineered hardwood brought the project together. And Lilla was wonderful to deal with.

Our initial impression was good. Installation went smoothly and finished look was great. Lilla came off professional and honest. However, the material used was not meant for a high traffic area. It was likely a clearance product that ended up failing as the vinyl flooring began to lift and buckle at its seems. I found out later we overpaid for material. No response from Z & G. Don't trust their "warranty" policy as they don't seem to have one or return calls.

Most disappointing is that they did not have our long term satisfaction in mind. If they did, they would have advised us better. They knew what they were installing and they knew it would fail within a year. Not even a year later, and it was a complete waste of money as we have to redo the floors in our children's centre.

You can find a more honest and reputable company. They did not set the bar high for us. We had a better screening process this time around. Regardless of who you use, we highly recommend NOT to use Z & G. If they took advantage of a children's centre...
