VHL was hired by Benjamin Moore to sand and strip my deck and prepare it for a semi transparent stain.
Unfortunately Rob overpromised and under delivered.
From damaging the deck, over spray of the chemicals on the fence. Promising that the job would take one day and dragged out to 3 weeks and still not completed.

We had both of our bathrooms renovated at the same time. As we had to leave while this was being done, we took a vacation. When we returned, all was finished as promised. Everything was beautiful; we were so happy with the work.

VH+L was absolutely great to work with. Out of all the people that came to give us a quote, Mike and Rob were the best prepared and most willing to help us find a solution that worked with our budget. Other contractors came and would simply throw out a ballpark estimate and if it was higher than I expected, just said too bad.

Mike and Rob took the time to walk through potential solutions and helped us make choices that not only saved us money and got the budget under control, but also gave us a great final product.

They were both easy to communicate with and always responded quickly and professionally. They, along with their crew, were timely, worked hard and quickly, and really delivered on the project. We even introduced a few extra pieces after the job had started and Mike and Rob accommodated the changes without any hassle.

I will definitely be calling them back once I can afford to do my next reno!

Trades working with Trades can be sometimes challenging, but my experience with Vaughan Home and Lawn was Grade A from beginning to end! Professional, courteous and quality work! A very successful designer once told me when choosing to hire contractors and trades, it's how well you problem solve that separates the good from the bad. Rob and Frank never skipped a beat and although some modifications had to be made they co-ordinated between us, the stone fabricator and cabinet company quickly and efficiently without ever compromising the design and still meeting the deadline. I look forward to future collaborations!

We recently had our basement renovated from top to bottom - Bathroom, kitchenette, drywall, floors, trim, paint, etc. and we couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Not only were they quick and efficient, but their level of professionalism and eye for detail is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The project was delivered as promised, within budget and timeline. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Vaughan Home & Lawn was incredible to work with. My first time dealing with them but since the work, I have already referred them to several friends and colleagues. We did a major renovation of the house and it took 4.5 months. They were incredibly fast and always on time. Rob sticks to his timelines. The guys were so amazing and friendly. The kids loved having them around. They still come back for small things. I can't believe the service and commitment, months later. They don't walk away like other contractors. They make you feel like a part of the family.
The work involved building out an entire basement, with family room, workout room, full bath as well as a kids area and storage room and kitchenette. They wired it for a phenomenal home theater system. They moved the furnace and redid duct work to improve layout!! On the main floor they took out a load-bearing wall, expanded the kitchen, redo of main floor bath, and new kitchen. The ceiling is so flush and flat you can't tell that there use to be a wall there!!! It was really well done! They put in new floors throughout the whole house. Upstairs they redid two bathrooms. New moldings and trim throughout, top to bottom. Phenomenal work.
Most importantly, they kept us appraised of what was happening and engaged us all the way in any changes. Rob really commits to the original price. He was incredibly flexible with us, I can't thank him enough for that.
