Mega Snow Removal

Hired them to do interlocking and flagstone at my house. Took 15,900 when they started to dig it up. After the first day they packed up and have not come back. It has been 13 month.

Mega owner recvd 350.00 from my 81yrs old mother & never came to clean the snow. He basically took from an elderly woman. He should be very ashamed. Its okay.. Karma will take care of him. The Universe is charge. I wish you all you deserve this is my wish for you. So if this wish scares you. Think about what you have done. Wishing you the life you deserve for taking advantage of so many people. Yours truly You provide for ur family by taking from others basically because u do not follow thro with ur agreements. U did not even show up once. Oh yes the day u picked up the chque for advance payment from our mailbox in Sept. Well, my 84yr mom passed away she was very hurt and upset because she knows how hard she worked when she came to this Country for 350. U worked ZERO hrs. Your truly Karma

Terrible Company. Same reviews as everyone else, but I will still relay my experience. I hired him as I had undergone surgery and could not shovel this year. Prior to signing I met to confirm what would be cleared etc. He also said that he would not come till at least 5 cm; he said for the most part it was always more than 5 cm so not to worry. Being new to Toronto (from out West), I didn't know any better so believed him. Anyway, lo and behold we had quite a few snowfalls under 5 cm. All other contractors were out, except him. But I guess that was the policy. Those times it did snow more than 5 cm, he always showed up way after snow stopped, and was was packed down after being driven on (we can't stay at home waiting for him all day). All other companies would have already come and would be gone. When he did show up it would be very late at night; one time he came at 2 in the morning. He cleared it in less than 6o seconds and did a TERRIBLE job. Let a ton of snow and didn't even clear the pathway or stairs properly. I had to try and struggle to clear it and spread salt as my family would slip. This last snowfall he didn't show up more than 24 hours after. When I messaged him he had the audacity to say he wasn't paid. I had paid him right away in Nov and Dec and even got him to sign the contract as proof that it was paid in full. Anyway had to have a back and forth with him and send him proof of him cashing the cheque.

David: if you are reading this than Book keeping 101 my friend.

For major snowfalls all companies would come multiple times except him.

I also happened to come across an article which seemed to confirm others with a similar negative experience. Google his company name and the article is via York region.com.

Stay far away from this guy.

For this who are looking to submit a BBB complaint, you won't find his snow removal company there. Search by his phone number; he runs his business; this one is under that one . Both have terrible reviews.

If I could give a negative review I would.

Showed up once all season
When he answered texts, it was always an excuse as to why he could not come
Do not use this company - theft of money, dishonest, rude

Never call these people to work for you. Never pay them. They did not do what they were suppose to do and after I read the other complaints about this company, I was disgusted. The worst snow removal company in Vaughan. They don’t answer their phones and they don’t give you any information.

He came to my place, signed a contract and got the money. He didn’t show up to remove snow and clean driveway. He doesn’t answer my phone calls and text messages.

David came Nov.29 with his daughter to take my cheques. Didn't come 1st snow fall after Christmas, said he was out of town at funeral. Next snow took 2 days to get her after many promises & has never shown up again until today Feb.18. I asked for my money back after not coming for last big snow falls & he never retuned my text. Today he sent some employees who said they were just hired at last snow fall which again they did not come and plow. I called David to ask what is going on because I've hired someone else. He answered & I said "David" told him who was calling and he said "your welcome for us coming out on family day" & I said I wasn't thanking him & he told me "ok I won't come back again".
Why would I thank him when he hasn't shown up, left me without snow
removal while taking my money & not providing a service. This guy is the worst kind of person that has no issue taking money and running, even screwing over senior citizens. He needs to be stopped. Please never hire David Nugent & his supposedly closed company Mega Snow & Mega Loc.

He came talk the talk. Took the money then he walked. Only showed up once to clear the driveway. Did lousy job. Never returned texts. I had to hand shovel
Still no Dave. He promised to return our money

Dave came in with kind words to sign the contract and got $450.00 for snow removal from 01 Nov 2018- Mar 2019. When the first snow came in November he texted us saying all truck are broken down and will come as soon as they are fixed. NEVER CAME. Sine then we had few snowfall and well over 5CM, so far he came only once. Yesterday/13 Feb 2019 snowstorm we had to make several calls & what we heard in return is yelling with abusive language. This morning he came and did nothing & the excuse was that his truck was broken in our driveway. Now he said he is canceling the contract &will not refunding our money. Further threatening us not to contact him & blocked our numbers.
THINK WISE BEFORE HIRING HIM OR PAY & GO THROUGH NIGHTMARE .

We should inform this to police & media immediately for him to stop this to others. If you can Pls seek legal advice as I am doing it.

Never experienced such terrible service after paying in full. Never answers the phone. Only replies via text. For every snowfall you have to keep calling him to ask when he’s coming & His messages are very disrespectful & unacceptable. Always says he’s busy and can’t answer the phone. Never showed up for the 1st snowfall in November saying the brakes from all 3 vehicles were broken & will come after fixing & never came. Didn’t show up for the January 27th snowfall saying his guys will be too exhausted for the upcoming snowfall. For the January 12th snowfall, he only cleaned 25% of the driveway & said the Plow is broken and no mention of cleaning the rest of the driveway. When I asked why he didn’t clean the driveway Dave told me that he’s voiding my contract as I am acting like a cry baby & refused to return any money. I have to clean the driveway after I reached home. It is unacceptable how he treats his customers after getting the money and signing a contract. He was very punctual in getting the business, but failed miserably in keeping the terms of the contract. Please Please stay away from him and you’ll be doing you a favor by saving your valuable time ad money. It’s not worth going through this much of agony by him. I’m attaching the pictures of my driveway after he’s done the cleaning (as per him) I am ready to take legal action against him and I strongly believe the others too.
