We were impressed with the work carried out by the folks at the Wall Doctor. They were courteous, transparent, and punctual, each day showing up on time and working consistently. There were a few hiccups along the way because of the age of our house, but they helped us problem solve and figure out the most cost effective way to complete the work. We felt well looked after by everyone at the company.

I contacted The Wall Doctor about repairing drywall damage in one of our skylights. They promptly replied to my request for a quote.

The location of the damage made it somewhat awkward to repair. The team was professional, friendly, and prompt. Before starting, they fully protected the work area and did an excellent job repairing and painting the skylight, bringing it back to good as new condition. When finished, the team vacuumed and fully cleaned the work area.

I felt the price was fair for the job that was required and would use The Wall Doctor again.

These guys are great. They did excellent work, kept the work area clean (as much as could be expected for plaster work, at least), and were very friendly.

There are only a few (but essential) things you really look for in a contractor, and in my opinion those are:

* Is the price they quoted what I ended up paying?
* Is that price fair?
* Did they do a good job / where they professional?
* Did they clean up?

The Wall Doctor hit on all fronts. The quote they gave me was exactly what I ended up paying (to the penny). The price was at or below other quotes I received for the same work. The crew did an excellent job repairing the dry wall areas in my home and had a customer service rep keep me updated on progress. And, they cleaned up the area when they were done. I mean, what more can you ask for?

We had a new exterior door and frame installed in an 85 year old house. Some of the old plaster fell apart during the door install. I contacted the Wall Doctor who provided quote quickly. The work was done soon after I agreed to the quote. The Wall Doctor worker who repaired the plaster around our doorway did an excellent job.

We called the Wall Doctor for a quote related to plaster repair. Some of the hallway and stairwell plaster had bumps from previous electrical work and some had separated from the lathe.

Chris attended quickly to provide a quote which seemed quite reasonable.

Greg was brought in to complete the work which took two days. At the end, our hallway and stairwell walls looked amazing. We have never seen these walls as flat and smooth as they are after Greg repaired them.

Not only was Greg skilled but he also cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each workday and he took the time to explain what he was doing and why.

Thanks Greg and Chris. We will definitely hire this company for future plaster work.

We used The Wall Doctor to replace our broken pull down attic ladder and, seeing as it was next to the attic access, we decided to finally have the front wall/door access to our impractical upstairs hallway closet removed at the same time.
The space to work in was not large and right outside our bedrooms: Antony, Shawn and Chris were very careful to leave the space extremely clean at the end of every day.
They did great work, even patched up some little marks we had made to the walls long ago: we have already asked them to come back and help with another project.

Daniel and Penelope were great to work with. Daniel came into our > 100y old Toronto home and assessed the droop in our plaster ceiling. He gave us a few options for what he thought it would be and well.. it ended up being the worse option - probably even worse than they anticipated.

So his team cut through the plaster, installed a sister joist, patched it up and, some drywall + many layers of mud later, it looks brand new. This team is honest, reasonable, and really know their stuff - will continue to rely on them moving forward.

I recommend the Wall Doctor. We had a wall with 4 holes in it and a couple other "touch-up" jobs. The Wall doctor provided us a detailed quote over email based on pictures and their price was competitive. Shawn arrived promptly on the project day and worked with dedication for two days. You could tell that he is somebody who takes pride in his work. The job was done well, on-time, and at the agreed price. Shawn even fixed up a couple other issues in the immediate area. Overall, a very positive experience. I will most likely be hiring the Wall Doctor again for another couple small jobs.

Used this company to repair the ceiling for the condo unit below us. Very pleasant receptionist - very prompt reply - came on time.
