$$PLEASE AVOID$$, (unless you like your belongs damaged and missing)- my apologies as this might be lengthy, but pls. read on if youre considering a moving quote from this company. I went for the Google reviews & had multiple quotes, and sorry now that I chose this company in hindsight, as it is costing me considerably more to repair the damage this company has done to my personal property/belongings.
I had a move with this Getmovers and my mother did as well about 4 months ago, (only getting around to the review now)Im still left fixing or replacing the stuff they damaged, and still have had no response about missing and damaged items to date.
The worst part is their customer service hotline, which I believe is called the customer success department, has zero accountability or follow up-you can send the pictures, send an estimate, send whatever they ask you for & if they respond, its a generic message asking you to resend the same info. -Seriously?
If you try to go one step further & call to talk to a person, they say they will review your claim, with absolutely no follow up to this review or they may say they are waiting on the area supervisor to call you backIm still waiting for my call back after 4 months!
I personally dont call that success, and certainly not customer focused or customer satisfactionmost definitely not, customer success.
On a side note- Im sure this review will be met with a generic response (if any) saying to call them, and all things will be copacetic & right in the worldthe last forgotten 4 months were just a test run.
In closing I will say, I didnt have the easiest move, and I know there is a possibility for damage when moving things, but what I fail to understand is when you see things like a glass table top shelf at one end waiting to go on a truck and then it doesnt show up at the other endwhere did it go? in my mothers case parts attached to her TV that was wrapped up, and is missing when I gets to the destination. I guess I will never know the answer to where the missing items go, because that requires some action, accountability, and a response from this company on their end.
As with all things-the decision
is up to the individual to make-but buyer beware you could be rolling the dice as we did, and it didnt go in our favour
