Derek was a true professional. He would show up and work. No short cuts. If I need extra electrical work done around my house he had no problem doing the work. He was really affordable. Derek didn't charge me a ridiculous amount. His work passed the city inspection. I am happy with the work that was done and will definitely use Derek again. I will also recommend him to friends and family.

Just bought my first home in Bowmanville needed cat6 cables and cameras installed. Decided to give canon electric a call and spoke to a man named Derek he was super professional on the phone and told me he would take care of all my needs. Derek showed up on time and ran 7 cat6 cables all over the house and installed 2 outdoor cameras for me, at the end of the job he took the time to show me everything and made sure I was happy with it. I was actually surprised about the total cost it was much cheaper than I anticipated and the work that was done was top notch. If you’re looking for a fair well priced electrician that won’t gouge you at every opportunity call this man you won’t be disappointed.

I wanted to install potlight in hallway, kitchen and formal living room. I saw the posting by Canon Electric and contacted Derek. He was super prompt in his responses and was straight forward with his pricing. He arrived right on time and in over 4 hours he completely changed the lightings in my home so much so my wife asked to give him a tip as well.
