Dan from SureFire Power Group was our electrician. We had him come in to install three light fixtures (dining room chandelier, stairwell chandelier, bedroom ceiling fan) and also three new outlets/receptacles (two in washrooms, one in garage). Dan arrived on-time and was professional and knowledgeable throughout the job, and his quote for both the job's cost and labour hours was accurate; he was able to finish all of the work in one day within standard daytime working hours.

The stairwell chandelier was on a very high ceiling and required multiple hours of manual work to finish it after the electrical base was installed; rather than pay electrician rates for this part of the job, Dan allowed us to borrow his 8-foot tall ladder for a week so that we could finish it ourselves.

Very happy with the end result; we would highly recommend Dan and SureFire for any electrical work.

Dan arrived on time to complete the work and provided a stellar experience. He is professional, efficient, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. He offers a wide variety of services and very versatile in his work product. We had a few issues inherited from the builders work and he was able to work around them and provide solid solutions that he implemented onsite. He installed pot lights, relocated switches and helped to move the electrical and rehung our chandelier. He is coming back to do some more work outside when the weather warms up. I would highly recommend his services to anyone. He books a date for the work, shows up on time, leaves no mess. Very rare these days.

Dan was efficient in both his response and on the job. He swapped out some dimmer switches and installed a ceiling light - fast and affordable. I will absolutely hire him again for any electrical work I need. And would recommend to anyone. Never had such a smooth experience with trades.

Dan solved an issue where the conduit feeding my meter outside was damaged. He helped navigate the complexities with the electric company as a disconnect needed to be performed at the transformer instead of the meter. Dan followed this up by replacing the conduit coming into the house and re-feeding the wire coming from the meter through the conduit and into the panel.

Dan also swapped my fuse panel to a breaker panel after the above work was completed.

I’ll be leaning on Dan when I upgrade the service to 200A when the time comes.
