As seems to be their practice, the Enercare "heating protection" technician tagged and shut down our furnace, despite the cold and the fact that the "problem" he detected needed to be fixed within 30 days and not immediately. An Enercare salesman quickly showed up and tried to sell us an overpriced furnace. Instead, we called Speedy Home. Their representative, Ali, promptly came, saw the problem, did not attempt to upsell us, arranged for a new furnace (ours was 15 years old) and the installation of proper duct work, all at half the Enercare price. We strongly recommend Speedy for all furnace repairs and installation.
