Peter has had enough experience, that he was able to identify the problem with my fridge filter over the phone and came to the service call in 2 days prepared to fix the problem.
He was courteous and explained the problem to me. He cleaned up after the job and was professional.
This was not my first call to him for appliance issues. I would recommend him.

Peter repaired my kitchenaid fridge since the water dispenser and ice maker had stopped working. He brought extra parts in case his diagnosis was incorrect. He was great at communicating the issue and keeping in touch while he waited for parts to come from the supplier. This is the second repair he has done at our house. I would highly recommend him!

Peter was prompt in responding to my emails. He knew exactly what was wrong with my washer, ordered the part and came to change out the part within days of me contacting him. He was very professional, polite and to the point and didn't try to upsell. I would definitely call him again for other appliance repairs.

review because Modern Appliances helped me fix my fridge issue. This happened a few months ago. My parents Whirlpool fridge stopped working and I was looking for someone to help fix it. After sending requests for quotes on Homestars, multiple companies replied with their quotes. However, Modern Appliances suggested we turn our fridge off for 24 hours and then turn it back on to see if it would fix our issue. It did and we were extremely grateful.

I think Modern Appliances didn't need to give me a solution to try because it wasn't to their best interest. They could have sent us their quotes like all other companies, came over to make a quick buck with an easy solution. They gave me the solution free of charge. I think that shows integrity and if I have any issues with my appliances in the future, I would definitely hire them because I feel I can trust them.

Peter was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient in fixing my dishwasher within 30 minutes. He also provided some valuable recommendations for future use. I recommend him highly.
