When our dishwasher stopped working, I dreaded trying to find someone for the repair. Most of the reviews of companies online scared me, and even feedback from companies my neighbours have used made me not want to call anyone. My husband and I tried to fix it ourselves, but still could not get the dishwasher to work. Through a search on Homestars and Google, I found Yevhen. I was amazed that he actually picked up the phone right away and was able to send out his technician in just a few hours. Ivan, the technician, was very respectful of us and our home. It turned out that the reason our dishwasher wasnt working was a silly error on our part, and we appreciated Ivans honesty. We are very happy to have found this company. Will definitely call for future repairs.

We recently hired Jib to do our master bedroom walk-in closet. We were nervous because so many of our home improvements have ended in collateral damage such as dented floors and walls. This was not the case with Jib and his crew. Our closet was installed perfectly without any issues whatsoever. As well, the crew left our home spotless, even cleaning the dust off our staircase. Jib was extremely patient with us during the design process and he is very easy to deal with. We 100% recommend Closet Guy. We will be using them again.

We’ve done a lot of home improvements in our last two homes, and I don’t think any of them have gone as smoothly as this. We appreciated so much about Quality Potlight, from their swift communication, their cleanliness on the jobsite, their being above board and requesting permits and inspections, as well as their expertise in this field and making suggestions. This is a top notch company, the type you are told to hire by all those home improvement shows. Don’t hesitate to give them a call, you won’t regret it.

After some break-ins in the neighbourhood we decided to be proactive about security. We were already in the market for security film and had researched other brands when we met Gary at the Homeshow. We decided to proceed with Window Armour because this specific product is one of the best on the market, and also, the way it is installed offers the best protection. Gary couldn't be kinder, and his installation team was very clean, neat and thorough. We definitely sleep a little better knowing we have this extra measure of security, and that alone makes it worth the investment.

The nicest landscaping in our neighbourhood is done by this company. So, when John came by our home to leave their card, we jumped on the opportunity to hire them to do a small temporary patio area in our backyard. We did a small basic patio using basic stones and some steps from our patio door. What I appreciated was that both John from Sales, and John who leads the landscaping team both treated this job as if it was a much more expensive patio even suggesting a more time consuming way of laying our stones to make it more decorative. John (sales) also came by at various points just to see progress and to see if we were satisfied. We would definitely recommend them to others, and would definitely hire them again for a bigger project.

We called up Brock based on the reviews on Homestars. We were not disappointed. Our sales agent, Sandy, was knowledgeable, helpful, and quick to answer our phone calls or respond to voicemails. Our installer, Sokol, was sweet, kind and tidy., Our job involved smashing a leaky glass block window on our stair landing, which created quite the mess, but all was cleaned up and left as I would have cleaned it myself. The actual new Northstar window is a fantastic product and we are very happy with it. Overall, this has been one of the better experiences I have had in home improvement. I would definitely recommend Brock to friends, and will definitely use them again in the future.

We've been there on various occasions to outfit our kitchen, and every time has been a wonderful experience. The store is huge, two levels, with everything you could ever want for your kitchen. The staff is wonderful too. They are always so helpful and looking for ways to go above and beyond to make your shopping experience not only fun, but also educational. Although prices may be a little higher than some other retailers, you definitely get what you pay for in that you are treated as a special customer, on occasions served coffee, and they absolutely stand behind their products with a generous return policy should you not be satisfied. They only place I will shop for my kitchen.

When we were looking to have plaster crown moulding done throughout our house, we called various companies, but Canadian Trim was the only one to call back right away and set up an appointment. Off the bat, that was a good sign. When my husband and I went to their showroom, there was one profile we loved, but it was available only in MDF, and we wanted plaster. Canadian Trim custom made a mold for us so we could have the profile in plaster. They really went out of the way to help us achieve the look we wanted. They did a fantastic job installing it, and were quick with any customer service requests we had. We were very happy with the job they did, that we have called them back to do other jobs on our home as well, such as ceiling medallions, and a decorative ceiling tray in our dining room. We have received many compliments on our crown and moldings, and would recommend this company to others.

I will spare you all the details of a very, very long story of a refrigerator going terribly wrong. We purchased all five of our appliances from this store, and for the most part are happy with our purchases. However, after some very aggravating problems with our fridge and the manufacturer, and the warranty company, the store manager, Randy Killam, went above and beyond to help us and ease our frustrations as much as he could. Although the problems with our fridge were very frustrating, and our confidence in this specific brand of fridge has been shattered, we would purchase from this store again because the store manager really understands customer service. It is understandable that when purchasing anything, things may go wrong, but how it is dealt with makes all the difference and will keep customers coming back.

We called Massimo and his staff to paint the interior of our "builder" home after living in it for four years. The walls were left a complete disaster by the builder, an absolute eyesore. But now, after all the painting and repairs are finished, my husband and I have a hard time believing these are the same walls. It was worth the wait. When I think of how our place looked the first day the painters arrived, I'm surprised they didn't walk away overwhelmed. But they stuck it out, patched all my walls, and even sanded all my trim. It looks beautiful. They pay attention to every detail, and will fix anything without a fuss. The painters are fantastic, very friendly, and hard-working. If you are looking for a cheap way to slather on paint, this is not the company for you. But, if you have a keen eye for detail, and want a higher standard of work, Executive Touch is the way to go. Highly recommended.
