After a few different quotes from other companies, we decided to go with Summit Contractors for our main floor renovation. Their reviews, personal attention and the reasonable quote were all factors why we decided to go with them. Our renovation included significant demolition work, removal of old kitchen, old tile, a non load-bearing wall, raising the sunken floor in the family room, ensuring that all floors were level and aligned, removal of popcorn ceiling, re-surfacing the fire place feature wall, installation of new tiles, hardwood floor throughout the entire floor, new kitchen, powder room, laundry room and mud room custom cabinets. Arash was always available to answer questions and was forthcoming in communicating any challenges or expected cost of additional work we asked them to do so there were no surprises. They listened to our feedback and made changes without hesitation if needed to keep us happy. Arash also provided ideas and recommendations to make the outcome even better. They are working with some of the best tradesmen (e.g. cabinetry, tiling, flooring, etc). Arash and his team are true professionals, always standing behind their work. We are very happy with the result and would recommend Summit Contractors.

Very good experience, easy to book an appointment, got timely updates on arrival, quick and honest service and even a follow up call to see how the oven works after the service. I would definitely recommend.

I found Trini Electric on Homestars and was very happy with their service (making changes to ceiling lights, switches and installing pot lights). They were able to schedule the job a couple of days after my call, gave me a reminder call the evening before and even texted me the exact arrival time an hour before they arrived. The job was completed promptly, professionally and they listened to all my requests, explained their work and even asked what colour the wall will be painted so that they can adjust the colour of the light from the pot lights to ensure it will have optimal result. I will definitely call them if I need an electrician in the future.

Nelson and his team did a great job replacing our backyard fence. Project was completed as described in the quote, on time and on budget. They even took special care to save our flowers!
