I paid $624 for... 1. After 1.5 hours the small struck is not even 1/3 full. 2. My husband had to move 3. It took more than 3 hours to clear (actually couldn't even finish) 2 bedroom condo – we don't even have a bedroom set 4. Our new house is 10 minutes away. 5. The mover refuse to put a single thing to upstairs. 6. I had to pay someone else $100 to move mattress and other furnitures to upstairs 7. We had to finally let them go at 6:30 (after more than 6 hours). So they left our stuff on our front lawn. See pictures at http://jiajiamoving.wordpress.com/about/ -----------My response to Jia Jia--------------------- 1. How much longer does an elevator take from 2nd floor to 17th floor? I wonder how much faster they could've done their job if I lived on 2nd floor. 2. The initial payment I was asked was $624 (see picture) with estimated completion at 6:30 pm. When the time came the movers wanted extra hour as well as money. So we let them go and they gave us some money back. 3. Jia Jia moving says 4-6 hours normal. But in my case, not a single box went to 2nd floor after 5.5 hours, not to mention they couldn't unload everything from truck. 4. What the use of their gift card after this kind of service? It won't cover extra $100 I spent to moving furnitures to upstairs. At least send me an apology!!!!

Facts: A) $560 is the total payment collected for 5hrs. of moving time + 1hr. traveling time. B) 2 bedrooms apartment for family of 3. C) 3 hrs. for moving out of the apartment. Client lives on the top floor of a high rise building. D) Estimated 2.5hrs. to unload into house. Customer disagrees and refuses to pay. E) Movers worked through 1.5hrs. without a break, and barely unloaded everything into the 1st floor of the house. F) Client paid balance. But refuses to pay additional time to move things upstairs and let movers go.
Resolution: 2 bedrooms apartment usually takes 4-6 hours to move. It took the movers 1.5hrs to barely unload everything into first floor of the house. 3hrs. to loading from top floor of a high rise building doesn't seem unreasonable. However, we gave our customer the benefit of the doubt and offered a gift card equivalent to 45mins. of moving time. Unfortunately customer reminds unsatisfied.
