The 16-year old vinyl on our little deck was badly stained and beginning to crack and needed replacing. During the site visit, Paul explained to us clearly what materials and methods would be used and gave us a very detailed and affordable quote. We were able to choose from a wide variety of Duradek vinyl colours and textures. Marikos did a thorough job of removing the railings, stripping off the old vinyl then properly prepping the plywood and installing the new vinyl. The new black-coloured perimeter flashing is bonded to the vinyl and now matches our railings. It looks much better than the old vinyl which was just clipped to the underlying old flashing. The job site was left clean and tidy which we very much appreciated. Even though it was quite a small job, we felt the work was done with a lot of care and attention to detail and would highly recommend VS Deck and Rail.

Three years ago, we bought a new house and needed window treatments for 14 windows of various shapes and sizes. We were overwhelmed with the task before us. Arlene's consultant Timothy visited our house and gave us great advice on what styles of blinds and shades were available and what would look good in our home. He took all the measurements and did all the ordering. Arlene's professional installer mounted all the hardware and installed the blinds and shades perfectly. We could never have done this by ourselves and were happy with the results. Recently, when one of the blinds needed repairing, Tim helped us ship the blind back to the manufacturer and helped us reinstall it.

We have grass allergies so we use College Class to cut the lawns and boulevards of our corner lot. They do a good job and cut the grass to our height specifications -- a little longer to discourage chafer beetles from laying their eggs! They also do fertlizing, aeration and moss control on request.
