He provided a quote and assured us that there would be no additional charges if further investigation was required. He arrived punctually and swiftly resolved the problem. Impressed by his service, we decided to engage his expertise again for installing pot lights in our living room and basement. Steven and his team arrived on schedule and offered advice on the optimal number and distribution of pot lights. They completed the project within a day and a half. After finishing, they diligently cleaned the floors and ceilings, disposing of all waste. They patched up the ceiling holes, leaving us with only the repainting task. The pricing was reasonable, and the workmanship was impeccable. Additionally, they assisted in installing a ceiling light we had purchased ourselves. Our furnace stopped working and we contacted HIgh Efficiency Cooling and Heating because our Carrier furnace is still under warranty they are the Carrier authorized dealer. Our appointment was in the afternoon but Jason called in the morning. He said one of his appointments was cancelled and he wanted us to have heat by the end of the day. Jason was very professional. He found the problem (we needed to change the gas valve) and also explained during his work, told us what caused the problem and how we could prevent the problem in the future. He was very patient to answer our questions and we had the heat again on the same day. We were very satisfied with his work and we will contact the company again for furnace maintenance next year. I would definitely recommend High Efficiency Cooling and Heating.

After reading reviews from HomeStars, we hired Tom as our home inspector. Since we waived inspection before we put the offer (bidding offer), we did not expect much and just wanted to know what we needed to do with the 'new' home. We described this situation to Tom and he was considerate and still did the thorough inspection for the home. He arrived even earlier than we did and explained every detail and sent us a detailed report the same night. Not only did he tell us what we need to do on renovation and maintenance, but he also tried to teach us how to find potential problems. He always ask us to guess what happened before he explained the problems, and every time I talked to him, he always encourage us to ask questions. We really like his attitude and patience.
