My wife and I are extremely satisfied with Damian and his crew. I had an issue with a pipe connecting to my laundry room. Damian and John came out to help us fix the issue and also tested the washer and dryer to ensure there were no other leakages. Damian's a true professional, is easy to reach and keeps his promises. My wife and I highly recommend Damian to anyone looking to do any renovation work!

Arash and his team did a phenomenal job with our washroom renovation! My wife and I are extremely happy with the outcome. Check out our pics below. If you don't have time to read my full review here are the 5 main points. 1. Arash and his crew are amazing and my wife and I highly recommend them 2. High quality workmanship 3. Arash keeps his word and is a true professional 4. Arash is fair with his prices 5. Arash actually does care about making his clients happy Initial Impression I found Arash on Homestar and we had several meetings with him to discuss various ideas. I like to use these meetings to gauge the other person. Last thing I want is someone who is in it only for the money rather than making their clients happy. What stood out about Arash was he was on time and made some great suggestions that we probably would have never thought of on our own. Based on his level of interest, professionalism, honesty and my gut instincts that he’s a trustworthy guy we went ahead to hire him. Demolition During the demolition phase Arash and his crew were very respectful of our home. What distinguished them was they made the effort to protect our floors and stairs with a high quality product. I don't recall the name of the product but it was blue and was designed to be waterproof and protect against any heavy items dropping on the floor. It definitely wasn't the cheap paper covers that i’ve seen some contractors use in the past. I also liked how they cleaned up after each day despite the master bedroom not being occupied. By doing this choir, it did make me feel like they didn’t treat my home like a job site. Creating Our New Washroom This was probably one of the most exciting parts of our project. Once we saw them starting to build our new washroom it became easier to envision the entire layout. The first thing that comes to mind that stood out about Arash and his team was they were always thinking ahead. This allowed them to give us some options and make recommendations. The reason this is important to me is I have limited knowledge about this field so to have someone present me the options and answer my questions that meant a lot to me. For example, presenting us the two best options for waterproofing in the shower. A good example of Arash and his team thinking ahead is when they helped us run a new water line from our water tank into the new washroom. This allowed us to have a direct source of hot and cold water vs borrowing from the washroom next door. I loved how he took the initiative to get this done for us despite us never talking about it before. At the end of each day, my wife and I would take a look at the progress of our washroom and we really liked the workmanship of their team. No shortcuts were taken. This was one of our fears after watching all these shows on HGTV. I am glad Summit Contractors takes pride in their work. Final Touches The final piece of work was installing a barn door for us. It wasn’t a straightforward process due to our wall. Again, Arash thought outside of the box and came up with a brilliant idea to ensure the barn door did not damage our wall and also creatively added stoppers where required. My wife is extremely happy with her new barn door! Towards the end of the project Arash made sure everything that he had originally promised us was done. He had a check list and went through each item ensuring we both agreed. He definitely kept his word from start to finish. Recommendation My wife and I highly recommend Arash and his team at Summit Contractors. High quality work, fair prices, Arash keeps his word and he works to make his customers happy. His team is truly fantastic. Special shout out to the team -> Sohrab, Amir, Ash, Peyman and a couple of others names I cant remember. My wife and I recently purchased a new home and wanted to completely renovate the first floor and basement. The home is over 60 years old and was in desperate need of an upgrade. We had a vision in mind and met with 8 different contractors (6 were referrals). This initial process was exhausting but Damien won us over. He showed great patience and attention to detail in understanding what we wanted in order to create our dream home. My wife is extremely picky about who we work with and the fine details (reminder – we met with 8 contractors). Especially after watching all the various HGTV shows about contractors doing a poor job or running off with client’s money after doing a bit of work. After we signed our contract with Lindsay Contracting we felt extremely good about our decision. Our project included tearing down the entire first floor and basement. For our main floor, we wanted to have an open concept living space with a large kitchen, living room, pot lights throughout the ceiling and painted. In order to make this happen, Damien and his team had to take down a low bearing wall and various other walls and ceilings on both floors. It was definitely quite the challenge given the layout and structure of our home. For our basement we wanted to better utilize the space by adding a kitchen, bedroom, washroom and staircase to the side door entrance. The condition of our previous basement was considered to be finished but it didn’t have any of the above. My wife and I wanted a separate unit available for family, friends and international students to stay with us. On the first day of demo, we met Damien and his crew for our project (Martin and John). Both individuals were friendly and pleasant to chat with. My wife and I are full time employees and being around the home at times was very difficult. Damien and his team were extremely respectful and treated our home like it was their own home. One of Damien’s biggest strengths is communication. He kept me informed of what’s going on which helped us both stay at ease. After demo, Damien and his crew discovered the basement walls were not insulated and heat was actually escaping. He gave us some options and worked within our budget to manage this surprise to us. We also did a couple of additional add-ons like sound proofing the basement ceiling and upgrading a couple of old pipes. Towards the end of this project, my wife and I had to leave for a 2 weeks trip. Damien proactively offered to help us with the scheduling delivery of our cabinets to ensure our home was finished one time. During the entire trip we were never once even concerned about our home. It’s a great feeling to know someone trustworthy and reliable is taking care of everything while we are away. When my wife and I saw our finished home it was truly incredible! We were so happy that our dream home was finally a reality! Throughout this project Damien and his team was consistently awesome. Even when my parents randomly dropped by without us to see the place, they were more than welcoming and never gave anyone any attitude. Damien, Martin and John are 100% true professionals.
