My Air Conditioner had stopped working on a Friday during the hot long weekend. It was on its last legs as it was an original 25 year old unit along with original furnace. I reached out to Jay and his team and were able to come on extremely short notice. They provided multiple options and spent the time to over everything in detail. Jay and installation tech Kevin had provided exceptional services and went above and beyond. The team was able to complete the installation the next day. They took the time to go over what was completed and cleaned up after the installation was finalized. I would highly recommend their services

Overall a great experience with Whitby Garage Doors. I found that Chad was very informative and had answered all of my questions during the quotation process. Material order and timeline installation was accurate. I'm very pleased with their services and would recommend them to others.

Let me start by saying that I've taken some time before posting this review in order to gauge the quality of the product. The installation was completed back in June. I have now had several months to see how the windows and doors operate during hot Summer days and cold Winter nights. I can honestly say that Steve at Fortress provides an excellent quality product as well as a superb installation team. All my windows along with the front door and rear sliding door were completed by Steve's team at Fortress Windows and Doors. I have done extensive research and received 6 other quotes from different contractors. I wanted to ensure i hired the right team as replacing the windows and doors is a large investment for our home. The quote from Fortress Windows and Doors was fairly priced. Steve was not pressing and took the time to properly explain and had answered all of my questions. The warranty that Fortress provides is great, with no fine print!! Overall I'm extremely pleased with Steve and his teams services. I will definitely recommend and use them for any future work. I have recently hired them for my in-laws home to replace a broken window and window cranks that were originally installed by the builder a few years. ago. I had initially noticed about a 4-5 degree temp difference (colder in the winter and hotter in the summer) on the second floor compared to the main floor. After further investigating the result was that my attic insulation needed a top up as well as some light fixtures that needed to be air sealed. My insulation was sitting at a R-20 value. I had the team at Great Northern Insulation top it up to R-50 value with blown in fiberglass. Everyone involved from calling in to set up a quote, to the estimator, and the install team were great. I found that their prices were fair, the team was on time and cleaned up once completed. They took the time to show me pictures of the completion stages of air sealing the light fixtures, plumbing and air vents. It has been about a month now since the insulation has been completed. I have noticed a significant difference, the temperature is more consistent throughout the house and my furnace is running less during the colder days. I would recommend and use them again for any future work.
