The part that was needed is now in and Dave (the salesman) is installing it right now. The service was great once the missed email was notified. Glad I could change my star rating as I was impressed before and I can now continue to be impressed with Encore. Great products with great service. What more can be said. Got a call AND a visit today, the day of this posting. Seems there was a mixup in the email and a resolution to this problem may be forthcoming. I'll keep people posted as to the progress of this problem. The windows are great BUT, I've been trying to get some warranty service done since August. My first two contacts said the weather stripping was covered for two years. My third contact said it might not be. My fourth contact said I he would have my salesman contact me. Never done! Now that December is here I think that the two year (NOT lifetime) warranty is up. I guess they wanted to ignore me until warranty service was not covered. So confused. I guess my major worry is that if this it how they deal with a minor issue of warranty how will they deal with something more serious as it comes along? See my previous review for installation and product (both good) but this warranty issue I think should have people worried. It does me. Hopefully I won't need service from them again. Just a caveat for those reading this review. (It's only a guess as to how much I paid. It's two years ago and I don't exactly remember. Could be a little more, or a little less.)
