I have to admit that I work in purchasing so when it comes to spending large amounts of money I'm very prudent. That being said the main reason to recommend gala flooring is the owner Lutfi who had me in stitches every time I visited his store. I must have gone in six time before finally deciding what I wanted. lutfi's advice was invaluable, his sense of humour was 'dry' and the whole process seemed very personal. Once the flooring was installed I was more than happy with the result. The guy who was contracted to do the install did a great job and I am really pleased with the result. Gala are on pacific and Richards which is really handy if you live downtown. Prices were less than the big box store and you can't fault the service.

I was looking for some recycled paints and normally you would think that an Eco building supply store would be really expensive but these guys were actually very reasonable. Next time you need paint check them out. The store is really interesting and they certainly gave me good reason to return when I start tackling some other DIY projects!
