We had an excellent experience with YS Roofing in July/August 2024, in the east end of Toronto near the Woodbine and Danforth area. Simon and his team spent time with us and our neighbours on the adjoining side of our semi-detached home to plan and complete plenty of work. Our project involved both a flat roof and a shingled roof, along with the installation of new eavestroughs with leaf guard covers, downspouts, and vinyl siding, giving our homes a complete new shared look with small differences on each side. We received a detailed quote that included contingency pricing for any additional work that might be necessary once the roof was uncovered. The team worked efficiently, kept us updated on any changesespecially when the weather affected the scheduleand ensured our property was cleaned up each day, and free of debris. The work was completed exactly as planned, with no surprises, thanks to Simon's excellent communication from start to finish.

I had a fantastic experience today with Owen repairing our chimney (both for a wood-burning fireplace and a gas water heater). Our exterior flue liner had fallen down inside the chimney, Owen quickly assessed the needed repairs and showed me photos to explain what he would be doing. He was very professional, kept me informed, answered all of the questions I had and cleaned the work area fully before leaving. The cost was exactly as quoted over the phone, even with what I think was a bit of extra effort to extract the fallen liner from inside the chimney. Couldn't be more pleased with today's repair, I'll be sure to use and refer others to A-1 Quality Chimney for any future chimney needs.
