Customer brought their 2019 Polaris 9350 unit in for diagnostics and repair. They were told there was a $90 plus HST diagnostic and service fee. Parts were extra. In a conversation with the customer, it was explained that a new cable was required that cost $378 plus HST. It was also recommended that some of the drive components be replaced at a parts cost of $75. Total cost for repair was $90 for labor, $453 for parts and HST of $70.59. Total for the repair was $613.59. The customer was emailed a quote for the original cable replacement and labor. Unfortunately the email address provide during intake was not viewed and therefore customer believed they never received a hard quote. As a sign of good will, we waived the diagnostic fee and asked that he pick up his pool cleaner.
