An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
Three years ago I moved into a house that was in desperate need of repair. The house was built in the early 60’s and the roof was leaking. After doing the research and getting five quotes, I had my lawyer review Academia’s contract and verified the insurance. We could not have been more delighted with the level of service. Although Academia’s quote was more than $50,000 they were not the most expensive nor were they the cheapest. Essentially the whole top of the house needed to be replaced. Gordon and his crew did an excellent job in every respect. They were experienced and knowledgeable, returned calls promptly, repaired more than quoted (at no extra charge!) cleaned up the mess daily and left our home in perfectly repaired and in clean condition. Last year I thought we had a problem with the roof and Gordon arrived promptly, however the roof was just fine and it was great to see Gordon again! I would not hesitate to recommend Academia Roofing to friends and family.
