After reading all the amazing reviews on this website I didn't bother shopping around and contacted Paul at the Duct Cleaning Specialists immediately. We just finished our basement and are expecting a baby any day now and wanted to get the ducts cleaned as soon as possible before the baby arrives. Paul was nice enough to squeeze me in the next day. Mat and Chris came and were very polite and professional. Even though I called to book the full cleaning service, Mat decided to do an assessment first and showed me that our ducts were actually not that bad. We ended up going with a cheaper service which saved me over $100. Mat also took the time to show my husband and I how to check and change the filter for our hepa air system and our humidifier (we had no idea the humidifier had a filter that needed changing!). I was so impressed with the exceptional customer service this company provided I have already booked them for my mother in law.

After spending quite a bit of time meeting with various contractors and getting quotes to finish our basement, we decided to go with 310Reno, a company I found right here on the Homestars website. All of the rave reviews I read prompted me to give them a call, but I have to admit I was a bit skeptical at first thinking that people were exaggerating about how amazing these guys are. Well, not only did my experience with Sean and Graeme meet the expectations set by these reviews, it significantly exceeded it. I echo everything other members had to say, and then some. 310Reno has many project managers, and I'm sure they are all great, but the project managers assigned to my job were Sean and Graeme, and they were by far the best contractors I have ever dealt with. They are professional, extremely polite, and such a pleasure to have in our home. It is clearly evident that they genuinely care about their work and the ultimate satisfaction of their clients. They will not compromise the quality of their workmanship just to finish the job and move on to the next one. They were extremely patient with me and were always happy to answer the hundreds of questions I had for them throughout the project. On more than one occasion I even asked them change something from the original plan, and without any hesitation they were happy to accommodate my requests, even if it meant they had to tear down or rebuild something they had already worked on. Their attention to detail is impressive, as is their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure perfection in their finishing touches. Another thing I really appreciated was their mindfulness of our budget, and going out of their way to help me find vendors that can supply the product I wanted, at a fraction of the retail cost. In my experience, not all contractors pass on 100% of their discounts on to the homeowner, or are even willing to shop around for the best price. Like other members said, I was recommending this team to everyone I know, (yes, even my mother), even before the job was done. Thanks Sean and Graeme for building us a beautiful basement and we look forward to working with you on future projects in our home.
