My large garden shed was sitting in the middle of my yard due to a slope at the back of the lot. Sam and his team dug out the hill at the back of my yard, built a retaining wall and a new concrete pad for the shed. They also had the challenging job of moving the shed into the new space. I also asked them to extend the interlocking patio and they did a great job on that too. They are a fast and efficient team.

Hyre Young removed the popcorn from the ceiling and renovated the main bathroom in my condo. I contracted them based on the low price they offered. First warning sign was the delay in starting the work; they were not able to provide insurance, and my building could not sign off on the renovations until they could do so. After a couple of weeks they finally got the required insurance. Fair. Then the work started. They said it would take a couple of weeks and was a small job and it ended up being close to a month. They did a good job with flattening the ceiling. No issues with that. The bathroom slowly started to take shape, but after a couple of weeks Damion said that he had run out of money and that to complete the job required an additional $1000. What I disliked about working with Hyre Young is that Damion is by far the least communicative person I have ever met when it comes to providing updates. He was constantly late and there were times when his workers called my wife because they thought she might know where he was. They renovated our unit almost a year ago, and I didn't want to write a negative review, but now the substandard work is showing through. There is moisture under the tiles in the shower which most likely will need full replacement. The grout mixture they used was all around off as it's crumbling or cracked in multiple places. The photos are only 10 months after the work was done. Unacceptable. I have tried contacting Damion multiple times to come back and fix it and he's never answered my texts, and now his phone number doesn't work.
