Great store that is very accessible by the 99 b-line or 22 knight bus. In terms of aquarium services (didn't use the other ones), staff were knowledgeable about aquatic plants that would best suit our guppies and also offered additional advice on water testing (particularly since a lot our fish die soon after pregnancy). Overall, great!
This place is well organized. A nice selection of fish and tanks were offered by watertype (e.g.: salt vs freshwater) and by size and price so you would know exactly where to look for your specifications. Worth a visit
Replaced my stove's electric "ring"
Electric ring broke down (once again) on my stove so I needed to pick up a new one. Got a recommendation from a friend to try out this store. Good communication on the phone and after bringing in my broken "ring", they were able to order the part for me within 2 days. Convenient parking as well, and close to my home (Fraser St., near Kingsway).
Always a fun store to visit while walking around Metrotown. Although small, they have a solid selection of pans and other kitchenware that would meet the needs of any amateur chef. Similar to other stores in that mall, it does get a little crammed up, so be careful where you walk! And also similar to other high-rent-paying tenants, prices tend to be a little higher than elsewhere.
A nice little store in the neighbour that offers a decent selection of fish and other aquarium products. Used to purchase fish from here years ago from the older gentleman that seems to work there every day. Very reasonable prices but could do with a small makeover - getting a little old.
Employees were knowledgeable on helping us select the best decorations, equipment, food and then fish (some very exotic ones were there for sale as well, less the sharks of course!) that best fit our budget. Although prices are a little higher compared to other small box stores and there is a bit of a wait to getting help, the end result makes it worth the while.
Needed a new bed and ended up here last year. Surprisingly large selection of mattresses (with an obviously large price range) that allowed us to pick something within our price range. Was able to get a special "long" bed as compared to the regular queen size. Delivery was also prompt and available for next day elivery.
Had to do a basement renovation a while back before I could rent it out again to tenants and it ended up including a change to the carpeting (been about 50 years, so probably worth a change). Local store offered us a good deal on carpet and installation so to avoid the hassle of asking someone else, just did it with them.
Old house and had a plumbing issue late at night. Thanks to their 24/7 service, was able to give them a call for them to come over and fix the problem so I would actually have hot water in the morning. Much appreciated!
Did renovation downstairs before renting to tenants. Changed floor, countertops, washroom and appliances. Needed to remove everything and found promo in newspaper and don't regret of any the service I received. Great and prompt - can't ask for more.
