This is my second attempt to fix the sliding door for my back entrance. This company was recommended to me from my co-worker. I want to thank Jim for his professional work. He arrived at my house within the promised time frame and was ready to work. He adjusted the door heights and carrier wheels for me. And just under an hour, the door is working like brand new again. The labor is for $75.00 per hour which is very reasonable. I would recommend Pedestrian Doors Unlimited to other because this company delivers its promises. And, Jim did a follow-up call to me within a week to see if it is working as it should be.

The sliding door for my back entrance is not working properly, more specifically the door is not moving smoothly, and it is hard to close. So I googled Elite Door Service Inc. (EDSI) and asked their technicians to come to my house to get an estimate. They came to my place within half an hour, which is very good in my opinion. They worked on the door for about an hour, did some cleaning on the rails, and then left. The door was working fine when the technicians leave but after couple openings and closings, the door was stuck again. I tried to get a hold of EDSI but they said the door was fixed. From my understanding, they don’t provide any warranty on their work. And they charged me for $90.00 per labor hour. So, I would not be recommending this company to fellow members.

The company that I work for uses the carpet cleaning service from this company and so I give this company a shot to clean up some old stains on my house's carpet. They arrived at my house with one of those commercial vans, and immediately unloaded the carpet cleaning machine. The work is pretty fast, took about 1.5hr to clean 800 sq. ft. space. Some of the stains are still left on the carpet, but at a much lighter color than before. I would say the quality of the service is mediocre at best.

My house is over 60 years old, and the pipes under the sink is clogged up with all the grease and sediments which prevented the water from flowing. So I called up Wah Hing Plumbing Ltd to set up an appointment to fix up the problem. The plumber is on-time for the appointment, he inspected the old pipes and quoted me a price of $300 to replace the old plastic tube and take out the materials that clog the metal pipes with one of his machines. He didn't come prepared with a bucket or pail, so some water leaked onto my floor and the shelf space underneath the sink. He did just an OK job afterward to clean up the mess. Overall, the water flows much better after he removed the clogs, and the sink is working fine so I am satisfied with his service. Also, he offered a warranty of 30 days, in case anything goes wrong, he will come back to fix it for free.
