Kevin came to my home this afternoon to tune up my furnace and put in a new Hepa filter. Kevin's office notified me that he was on his way. This was most appreciated as I do have an elderly dog that needs frequent walks. Kevin brought booties to go over his work boots and wore a mask throughout the service call. He worked quickly and very efficiently. Kevin was very professional and courteous. I highly recommend Limcan Certified Service for heating and cooling. Limcan also provides plumbing but I haven't needed that service since Limcan started the plumbing service. I know that Limcan will provide superior plumbing however as everything they do is excellent.

Dean kindly arranged an internal move for me in short notice as the thought of requesting movers came to my daughter Friday night. I called Metropolitan Movers on Saturday and Dean responded right away indicating that he could do it on the following Monday. He sent me a written confirmation and called me on Sunday to confirm and give a time for the next morning. Two movers arrived promptly and carried heavy dressers from the second floor to the first to allow for the installation of new carpet. The movers were very pleasant and professional. They worked quickly but carefully and carried heavy dressers and a desk from the top storey to the main floor prior to going to their next job. The movers were to return later to move the furniture back upstairs. Dean called and said that another crew would be coming to do that. The two gentlemen who came were just as professional and eager to help. They were very careful and took their shoes off as they noticed the new carpet. The paint was new also and both sets of movers were very careful while moving furniture through the narrow halls upstairs. When it was confirmed that this was their last job of the day, they were asked about taking boxes of furniture from a U Haul box on the driveway and carrying them upstairs for extra money. After doing that, they were still offering assistance but nothing else was needed. Metropolitan Movers is an excellent company with very reliable and dependable staff. I highly recommend Metropolitan Movers for internal and external moves. The movers themselves are courteous and professional and willing to help. The cost is reasonable and the quality is exceptional.

Limcan has provided excellent service to my furnace and air conditioner for many years. Their technicians are very pleasant and professional. Concerns have been expressed about the age and condition of my units. Repairs suggested were extensive and instead I decided to buy new units and purchase a hot water tank instead of continuing to rent an old tank. I wanted safer units which both draw air from outside and vent outside. I discussed this with advisor, Dylan, who did a very thorough job of assessing the cooling and heating needs of my home. Tecnicians Marcus and Luke came to my home and worked non stop to remove the old equipment and install the new units. They consulted me about the location of the exhaust pipes outside and the location and mounting of my new air conditioner. Marcus also noticed the fluff on the furnace room wall and then repaired the dryer vent and secured it to the dryer. After installation, they explained everything to me in layman's terms. Free duct cleaning was provided to me and Limcan followed up right away with scheduling that free service. Limcan continues to provide a superior standard of service in all areas of heating, cooling and hot water. I finally have sufficient hot water to do dishes and I am very appreciative of the excellent products and service provided by Limcan Certified Heating and Air conditioning.

Stephen Oreilly is very professional in his interactions. His rates are reasonable and the quality of his work is outstanding. He redid the upholstery on four antique dining chairs for me in four days while also picking the chairs up and returning the finished chairs. His estimate of how much material I would need was completely accurate also. Stephen also charged me a very reasonable fee. I would highly recommend Stephen Oreilly to anyone needing new upholstery. My chairs are gorgeous now and I am so pleased.

After doing extensive work to other areas in my home, Alan demolished my upstairs bathroom on the day I requested and started to rebuild it after allowing the proper drying time. Alan suggested some large tiles which I wasn't sure about but he was so right. Alan worked steadily on the bathroom and completed it on time. It is gorgeous!! Alan then came back right away to do some small touch ups and add caulking or silicone to two areas that seemed to retain water from the shower and he put in a door stopper as well. He also saw to it that my range hood vent outside was replaced. That was something he installed in February. Alan guarantees his work and comes back to rectify small issues. Plus he always communicates with me and replies to my questions. He is very ethical and keeps his word at all times. I highly recommend Alan and Starlight Home Improvement. He is so talented and can do electrical, plumbing, design, framing, floor installation and everything else. Punctuality and follow through are also superior. I could have rave about Alan forever!!!

Mike came to see me to provide an estimate for hardwood flooring restoration but we ended up going with laminate flooring instead. Mike put a sub floor in my kitchen to enable it to be at the same level as the family room. Mike put laminate from the entrance to the patio door. He did such a wonderful job and he works so quickly. Mike suggested vinyl flooring in the bathroom but it looks identical to the laminate. Mike and Alan also did demolition in my kitchen to prepare for new cabinets and made the floor sturdy and solid to enable it to support my appliances and cabinets. Mike is reliable and stands behind his work. He came back after my wall to wall carpet was laid to install reducers which he had stained and fabricated himself. Mike is multi-talented and a pleasure to have in one's home. I would highly recommend Mike and Magical flooring. Thanks so much for the excellent job and suggestions.
