I have used the services of Daisy Maids for several years & have been more than satisfied with them. Colleen & her crew take care of my “spring clean up-get ready for planting” work as well as my “autumn put the garden to bed” work, for a reasonable rate. In addition, they have added mulch to my garden & planted, divided & transplanted perennials. In fact, when it comes to my garden, they are willing to take on any chore, to the extent that they treat my garden with the same care & attention to detail, as if it were their own. I feel very lucky to have found them & will continue to make use of their talents.

For maintenance reasons, I needed exterior painting – entrance doors, screen door, garage door, louvered medallions & window trim. There was also a colour change involved. I have had both interior & exterior work done by Milton’s Painting in the past, so I had no reservations about choosing this business again. Milton was punctual, answered all of my questions completely, & provided a very reasonable estimate. He was not only very professional during the whole process, but also extremely patient & thoroughly accommodating – my indecision with the paint colour must have tried his patience. The work was done by Tony, who did a fantastic job. He was detail oriented, paid special attention to the different prep work required for different surfaces (raw wood, painted wood, aluminum, other metal) & did not skimp on effort. Tony also accommodated me with tremendous patience with respect to yet another colour change. The paint finishes on all surfaces were smooth & the edges clean. My 26-year-old wooden double garage door, that had begun to show its age, looks brand new & was primed on the inside to prevent moisture penetration. Milton conducted a follow up inspection, and made sure I was happy with the work. I certainly was. I would wholeheartedly recommend Milton’s Painting to anyone who could use his services & know that I will not be losing that phone number!

My 26 year old, builder-installed, galvanized steel eavestroughs developed several perforations, which caused a soggy foundation resulting in water seepage into the basement. Because they had also lost their paint finish over that time, & looked really ugly, I decided that it was time for new eavestroughs. After a lot of research, I chose Maxima Aluminum & have not been disappointed. Gennadiy was not only very professional during the whole process, but also extremely patient & thoroughly accommodating. He was punctual, answered all of my questions completely, & provided a very reasonable written estimate. The installation crew, Miki & Brandon, did a fantastic job & even kindly helped me out with an unrelated roof problem – above & beyond the “call of duty”. In addition to the new eavestroughs & downspouts, Miki & Brandon also clad the fascia on the gables in the same colour for a maintenance-free & more uniform appearance. Gennadiy conducted a follow up inspection, and made sure I was happy with the work. I certainly was. From the time I sent the email requesting a quote for the work, until it was completely done, took 8 days. Since the installation, there was 1 day of pounding rain & more than a few days of heavy winds. No problems whatsoever with the work, to date. I would wholeheartedly recommend Maxima Aluminum to anyone who could use their services & think it would be difficult to find anyone else who could perform better. Update: April 2015 The corner joint of the eavestrough developed a leak over the winter. One call to Gennady at Maxima Aluminum was all it took to have a crew come out within 2 weeks to effect the repair. It's one thing to be satisfied with a company's work when it's initially done, but when you appreciate that it stands behind its work & is diligent in its follow-up, the satisfaction is elevated to another level. Maxima Aluminum is such a company! Going with Maxima was a good decision & I would still wholeheartedly recommend both their work, & commitment to their clients...10+!!!
