My wife visited the showroom and the people there were pleasant, helpful, and thoughtful. Tom, the company CEO and a very patient, helpful, and kind gentleman, came to our home to measure up and arrange the contract. (He later came back personally during a snowstorm to deliver a screen for our new door.) As we had a standard-size door, the installation was about two or three weeks later (from a product in stock). The Metalex door is excellent quality, attractive, and achieves our dual purpose of security and providing protection from the cold, both much needed on this particular existing door. We believe it to be much superior to security storm doors available at comparable or much higher prices at the box stores. The installers were a little rough-and-tumble (when they left, I was able on my own to discover a good solution to covering a transom area they told me I would have to leave unprotected or fill in with insulation and plywood: it took me fewer than ten minutes to refit the storm transom above the inside area on the existing door, even though they'd left with the screws!), but likable and apparently quite skilled. (I don't have enough experience of this to say, other than the door fits well and does the job.) Over all, really good people, good product, good value.
