We had a few companies in to give us quotes on refinishing our original oak hardwood floors, and repairing our DIY gone wrong stairs. Murray from Restoration Hardwood came in quickly, and I had my quote within 2 days. We decided to go with Restoration Hardwood due to their use of water based stain (non-toxic fumes). We went away during the week they worked on our house, although our tenant was able to stay in the basement with no problems. Devin was the person working on our floors and he was great, texting me pictures of our top 2 stain choices, and then sending us "after" photos because we were so excited to see them. There was a small miscommunication on our part, we totally forgot about our built in vacuum in one of the small closets. Since we didn't take it out before we left, and left the hose on the floor, the guys thought we didn't want it done. Once I got home and realized it wasn't done, I called Murray and he had one of the guys come over right away to fix it. I was appreciative of this, because it would have driven me crazy over the years. Very good price for what was done, we really love our new stairs and floors!! I think they may have been pretty busy during this time, but I usually heard back from Murray within 2 days.

We had a wonderful experience with the guys from Centra. They did an awesome job with the estimate, making everything very easy and affordable. The one downfall was that the cleanup wasn't the best. We had a flower bed under our bay window that I kept finding nails and garbage from the window replacement.

We had to completely tear a covered sunroom down to the studs, put in electrical, insulation, flooring, drywall, new windows and siding. It was an extensive project that we knew wouldn't end well if we tried to tackle it ourselves. We contacted Mark, and he was really great to deal with. He walked us through the whole thing, and even though there were some unexpected costs (putting up new siding), he and the EA team were great. He would even answer the phone on a Sunday while we were shopping for windows and needed assistance. One snag was we found out after the floor went in, it wasn't the "best" option we could have picked, and I think if we had known we would have exchanged it, but so far no problems. I was really picky about the French doors being air tight and not letting in any drafts, and the guys did some modifications so I was happy. Overall - I would definitely hire Mark and the EA team again. We knew going in this was going to be an expensive project, but that it was an important investment for our home. We were comfortable with everyone on the team being in our house, and they did a good job cleaning up for the most part. There was some finishing touches around the doors I wasn't happy with, but they came back and fixed it all up. The job did run over 2-3 weeks, but we are pretty laid back so it didn't ruin our experience with the company.

Great work! We had Aaron come in and give us a quote for the work, everything was listed, very easy to understand. He helped us bring down the price a little bit by suggesting variations (different types of lights). He ended up suggesting pot lights for the kitchen, which made a huge difference! The crew that came to do the work were punctual, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend them/or bring them in again in the future!
