I purchased a comprehensive AC, Heating and Zone Control system from a major HVAC company in Edmonton. After a few years the weaker parts of the zone control system started to fail, specifically the solenoids on the zone dampers. We approached the company to effectuate the repair. After 3 months nothing was done, they kept complaining about how rare zone control systems are and the parts are virtually impossible to source due to the age of the system (about 8 years old now). Frustrated with them, I approached a second company. They didn't want to deal with it either, citing no working knowledge of zone systems. I asked them who should I talk to then, they recommended Romaniuk. A competitor recommended Romaniuk, let that roll around in your head for a few moments. I called Romaniuk, they dispatched a tech the next morning. I didn't ask for a rush service, we already had 3 months under our belt and there was no emergency. I guess this type of service is their normal practice. The tech showed up just before 10am and by 12:30 it was all fixed, parts purchased, installed, and works perfectly now. A+ to Romaniuk, F- to everyone else, especially the company I bought the system from. I feel shame I didn't know about Romaniuk at the beginning. Highly recommended.
