I highly recommend Tornado Plumbing and Drain. The flooring in my basement had started to buckle and a quick look under the boards showed that concrete was breaking up and crumbling. Right from the beginning, Tornado Plumbing was quick to reply to my request for a quote and took the time to explain what they found and what they would recommend, all in a very professional and courteous manner. As the job progressed and the ground was opened up, other issues were discovered (like a collapsed clay pipe leading into my home, leaking occurring near the weeping tile) which hardly comes as a surprise when dealing with a 100+ year old home. Sergey and Yuryi continued to provide fair, no-pressure advice throughout the process, along with photo updates and a chance to see what they found with the scope. While these things are never fun for a homeowner to deal with, their great communication, organization, cleanliness, and friendly customer service style made the very best of an unpleasant situation. They got the jobs done very efficiently (all in a week!), with great workmanship, and at a price that I've confirmed (through chatting with others who had similar work done) was competitive and fair. They even fixed an issue with my toilet for free. As a solo homeowner dealing with a project like this, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. I really appreciated everything Sergey's team did to get the job done right, quickly and fairly. You can work with them with confidence.

I am really impressed with Bestway. During the quoting process, Jeff answered all of my questions thoroughly, provided me with options, and was always very quick to respond. The electrician, Matt, was a total professional. He kept me informed on what he was doing, asked if I had preferences in terms of outlet positions, worked quickly and cleanly, and was exceptionally courteous. At the end of the day, I have the outlets I needed, done to code and inspector-approved. I will happily turn to Bestway again for future electrical needs.

I contacted four of the top-rated fence builders on HomeStars and Bin Solution Inc.'s customer service and responsiveness was miles ahead of their competitors. Zion was very prompt and thorough in providing information, a quote and answering my questions. He even provided a bit of flexibility on the price, which I very much appreciated. No, Bin Solutions didn't deliver the cheapest quote of the bunch, but they were by far the most professional of the companies I contacted, and that's what won my business. Zion's carpenter, Trevor, is an asset to Bin Solutions - courteous, talented, punctual and clearly takes pride in his workmanship. He also understands that building a fence is part-construction, part-neighbourly relations! Trevor and his team were VERY respectful and patient with an elderly neighbour of mine who had come outside a few times to ask questions and convey his "concerns". They did such a great job in this regard that I received a note from this neighbour about how professional and tidy Trevor and his crew were! You can't get better than that! The end product is beautiful and all the little details of my fence and gate were completed on time and with care. I'm looking forward to many years of enjoying my backyard.
