Unable to clear ground floor overflowing toilet led to a call for professional plumbers. Sergiey from Tornado Plumbing & Drains, identified the problem very quickly and as it turned out roots almost completely blocked sewage stack in the basement. After several attempts with auger they cleared the roots and replaced corroded cast iron stack with new PVC pipe. Unfortunately that was only the first step. After further inspection it turned out that most likely also there was a blockage outside in the connection to the City sewage system. Regrettably outside there was only existing breather pipe, which did not allow for removal of the obstruction. Next day Sergiey excavated the existing breather pipe and replaced it with proper clean out allowing future access to clear the exterior connection. In the process he pulled out very large ''snake'' made of roots that was clogging City part of the sewage connection. Sergei was very courteous explained every step needed to remediate the problem. All work was done promptly in very professional manner. Site preparation and cleanup was exemplary. I would recommend Tornado Plumbing & Drains without hesitation.
