I called Window Gang and scheduled for them to come out and clean my gutters. They came out and within no time my gutters were cleaned. The gang did have to walk on my roof but they were fast, neat, and quiet. What more can you ask for.
We decided that taking care of our lawn ourselves was more than we bargained for, so we did some research and decided to go with a local company called Lawn Enforcement. Soon we met the owner, Mark, a really nice guy who understood our lawn issues and quickly took care of them. For approx. $120 a month we never have to worry about our lawn. We highly recommend this company.
Well I had a gas fireplace with a traditional mantel but wanted the look of stone. I had gone to FireSide and picked out a stone that I liked and they in turn came to my home nad took some measurements and offered advice. The masons were fantastic, I have no qualms with them but as for FireSides customer service, I really am not impressed. They would schedule dates to come out and do work and then I would be left waiting for them to show to find out after about an hour of waiting that they were not coming. I just think that they should be a little more considerate of their customer's time. At least I have a great looking stone fireplace now.
I am so happy we bought our Kenmore Elite Grill at Sears. This baby can cook! But even more I love the service at Sears! They delivered and help set it up. Also they were great when we had a problem with one of the burners and they send a repairman out to us ASAP.
Alpine Shutters and Blinds was recommended to us by our builder and if we used them the costs could be added into our mortgage. Well, I wouldn't say they were the worst but for a first time homebuyer/blinds buyer, they were not as helpful as they should have been. They did come out to the house and bring samples and measure my windows and offer advice. But when I received my blinds, the bottom of the blinds were too wide for my windowsill ledge. They basically hang off the edge and do not sit well. I felt that they should have pointed this out to me when they were measuring my windows, afterall, they are the professionals. Well, at least the shutterblinds are nice.
When we moved into our new home, it automatically came with a year contract with TruGreen to take care of our new grass. I must say they did a great job with seeding, fertilizing, and weed control. By the time the next summer came around we had a gorgious lawn. They also offer other services.
Bed, Bath and Beyond is a great source for a number of different household items. They have all your kitchen and bath needs under one roof. I especially like the little surprises that you can find like Jelly Belly Beans! Who knew.
Linen 'n Things is a really nice store with a large variety of household items. Their kitchen section has everything under the sun. They also send out occasional coupons and except their competitor's coupons as well. They have lots of little unexpected items, I even found tweezerman tweezers that I usually need to order via internet.
