After few years of debating to renovate our home or buying another home with what we wanted, we decided on renovating our home to make the layout work better for our family. Before we started our renovations, we had asked our friends and family that had done their renovations if they would recommend their contractor to us. Unfortunately, none of them would recommend their contractor because they had bad experience and wouldn’t want to see us go through the troubles they faced. So, we had to rely on our search/interview process through reviews on Homestar. We met with 4 contractors for estimates and Novacon was the last one that we met with. When you meet Pavel, you will immediately realize that he’s very knowledgeable, honest, detailed, has a great vision, and definitely not pushy like some of the other contractors. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to select Novacon for our renovations. Pavel’s entire team has the same great qualities – everyone that worked on our project were all so kind, knowledgeable, detailed, never took any shortcuts and always took the time to explain complicated construction challenges in the simplest way and proposed solutions. Yvon, Peter, Victoria, Brandon are all very detailed, passionate about their work and take great pride in their work. Yvon (site supervisor) pays great attention to the details, making sure everything is done to perfection. I also worked very closely with William during the project, he was always so well organized with all the timelines and kept me on track with all order of selection process. I couldn’t have imagined going through the renovations process without William to keep me organized on priorities, helping me with decision making process when I struggled with choices. He was available any time of the day, always kept me informed. Whenever I felt panicked because of the challenges that would come up, William would always say “there are no issues, only solutions” and then him and the team would come up with solution to every challenge. A month after our renovations began, the COVID-19 Pandemic resulted in lock down. This was a challenge that no one had faced before but leave it to Pavel and his crew to navigate through it with total calmness and coming up with solutions to every challenge that we faced. All our friends and family worried that our renovation project would turn into a nightmare because of the Pandemic, but to their surprise we were able to move back into our home on time and the workmanship was impeccable. Nothing was easy during the Pandemic but Pavel and William managed it all without letting us feel any of the stress and kept us updated on everything. We are so thankful for the entire Novacon team and would recommend them to anyone looking to do renovations to their home.
