Scott and his team did a great job - the house looks better than ever and it's over 100 years old! I've received so many compliments from neighbours and passersby. This team is very experienced and detail oriented and were careful to protect areas that weren't suppose to be painted - on my house and the neighbours - and they also made sure to protect the neighbouring fence so their ladders wouldn't touch it which everyone appreciated. They were very professional and started with prep - scraping, sanding, epoxy filling, and dapping/caulking wherever needed. Then the whole house was pressure washed. After it dried, Primer was brushed/rolled on all bare wood and nailheads. The wood siding was sprayed (two coats) and they were careful to monitor the wind so there wouldn't be overspray. If the weather hadn't cooperated, they were also prepared to roll the paint. In any case, they used a spray and roll technique and the paint coverage is perfect (especially important with a darker colour)! Then all the trim was painted (two coats) and then the soffits (two coats). The whole project took seven days and the final day was for clean up and replacing everything they had to remove to paint the siding (down spouts, light fixtures, etc). Then we walked around and they made sure that everything looked great. I really appreciated how thorough and thoughtful the whole team was. They regularly checked in with me to make sure the right paint was where I wanted (my previous paint job had some siding colour that should've been trim colour). They replaced a rotted piece of wood up near the soffit and added some screws to the deck soffit as it was sliding around. The communication was good from the first meeting with Scott for the quote and throughout the entire project. I'd highly recommend this team for interior or exterior projects as they have the experience and work ethic to do any paint job exceptionally well and the professional result looks beautiful!
