Sokol and team did a great job removing and replace damaged wood siding on the exterior of the house. Sokol helped us with paint colour options, including helping us find other houses in the area with similar colours that we were considering. The end product met our expectations. This is the third time we have worked with Sokol and we really appreciate his attention to detail and quality.

This was the second time using Carpentry At Its Best and the experience was the same. Niall and team did a great job repair damaged posts on a balcony and veranda. Strong attention to detail, knowledgeable team, clean work space, and excellent craftsmanship. Also helped me colour match the replaced siding board on the balcony.

Very professional team. Mike came out to quote and discuss options promptly. He did not try to upsell and gave good advice on what to do with specific trees on the property. Michelle was responsive and organized in lining up a date for service. On the day of service, Mike and team were on time, courteous to neighbours, and cleaned up after themselves. Mike would call me out periodically during the job to make sure I was satisfied with the different areas of trimming that were completed. Removed a large wasp / bee nest at no charge. Will use service again in the future.

We recently hired Niall and team to repair a number of wood posts in our carport and veranda that were starting to show signs of rot. Niall was highly responsive, immediately returning my calls and keeping me informed on the status of material delivery and work timelines. He took the time to explain things and answer my questions. This was a relatively small job compared to other projects his company does, but he still treated me like any other client and provided high quality customer service. The design of the original posts were quite intricate, but Niall spent the time researching and calling around to find a vendor that could replicate the design so the new posts closely matched the original posts. Niall visited multiple times to make sure he had all the necessary and correct measurements before ordering the posts. He takes pride in his work. When it came time to install the wood posts, Niall and team were highly professional. They arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of each day. The team even went above and beyond by replacing a few rotting pieces of wood on the veranda railings using leftover wood pieces at no charge. I would recommend Niall and team to others and would hire them again for any future carpentry work.
