I can’t begin to express the gratitude and positive impression Alon and Samer at CanDO Fence & Deck made on all of us in our Neighbourhood fencing project. We had a long road to get to completion, with waiting for grading approval and getting 31 neighbours on board with the project. Alon’s team brings amazing organization, support, excellent communications management and flexibility to their professional approach. They had an extremely competitive price, outstanding warranty, top construction approach and when they were in place to do the project ...wow! Blink and it was done! Truly impressed and would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Grateful for your detailed feedback and review. As always with projects involving 30 + Homes it is generally getting all on the same page that is the more time-consuming part. Neighbours must be willing to work together and communicate with each other. We do our best to help facilitate this throughout the process but ultimately we are a service provider and can only work based on clear agreement and cooperation. This results from all being in communication throughout the process which is key to getting these projects organized!

Dealing with Vikki from Milton Blinds was a very positive experience! Vikki was prompt in responding to us, made 2 in home trips to our house to review options, and had very good suggestions based on our style and colour preferences. Vikki was thoughtful in planning out the timeline required for measurements and installation to be well timed with our move-in, and in the end the installation went beautifully and we are very happy with the end result! We went with slightly higher end roller shade products, so although it was more than we budgeted, I know Vikki worked hard to give us the best price she could. Thanks Vikki!

Bogus warranty! At first I thought this company was great - they had a very professional sales approach and seemed to have a very organized approach to their business. We were very happy with the finished product....at first.....However.... Our front porch stamped concrete done in 2010 has cracked/crumbled in multiple places around the step, bullnose and where the garden walls meet the porch after 9 months. Since it was within a year they confirmed a repair would be covered under warranty (as stated on the contract). I've had at least four phone calls, four-five emails out to them and even received a letter from THEM confirming they would fix the repair in the spring of 2012 after not getting to it at all in 2011. The work is still not repaired, can't get them to set a date and was supposedly warrantied...beware! I'm not sure what our other options are now to fix this :( Correct on Company's statement below - the warranty work was completed in August 2012 after I provided them with notice that a complaint would be lodged with the BBB if action didn't commence by Aug 31, 2012. The warranty work was well done and addressed the issue.

What could this company do to improve their services?
Its all about the warranty - if the work can't stand up to even a full year of weather, they need to stand behind their product and schedule a prompt repair before the issue gets worse and they've lost all goodwill with the customer.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Don't just read the reviews on their website - look for reviews on sites like this for trackrecord of follow up over time and workmanship quality over time.
