After an exhaustive search for a flooring provider that had reasonable costs, I found Mike's Caret and Flooring. While their showroom seems a little shabby and needing some external maintenance, the work Mike's Flooring does is amazing. While they were about 30 minutes late arriving to start the job, the crew got right to work. They work quite hard. My only complaint with Mike's would be the communication skills of some of the labourers they use. Often they are very hard, if not impossible to understand, so that came make it difficult to understand what is going on or how much longer the project will take for that day. The office staff themselves are very good and easy to understand. One other note, you may want to prepare yourself for when they leave. While their proposal says they do not clean, they really do not clean. We had a fine layer of wood dust on everything that had to be cleaned ourselves. While I expected some clean up this was more than I expected. However, the perfectly installed flooring made it worthwhile.
