When I purchased my house I got a basic washer, dryer, fridge and stove offered to me from Appliance Canada. I obviously wanted to upgrade from the basic white models to something stainless steel. I upgraded my dryer (which on delivery day came off the truck dented, so I was offered a $100 discount or a new dryer - needless to say I got them to deliver a new dryer the next day), stove, and fridge. I found that they gave me a bare minimum on what my basic appliances were worth, and ended up paying an extra $1200 for the fridge, and an extra $600 for the stove and dryer combined. The service was friendly, and I installed everything myself as it was fairly easy to do. The only bad part was that 3 weeks after I purchased my stove the drawer holders for the under-over drawer broke and I cannot find the replacements anywhere, needless to say i cannot use that drawer.
