We always wanted to have our basement finished to give us more space. Our friend recommended J&J after they had their basement finished by them. Johnson was very professional and very experienced in renovation. He presented him with how and what we want and he not only able to satisfy it, he also gave us his professional insight on alternatives, options and different designs and layouts that we hadn’t thought of. Our basement project expanded to also having our main floor redone. There were a couple of supporting structures that segregated the dinning and living room. We always wanted to open it up along with an open concept Kitchen. However the quotes we got in the past were often way over our budget or said they couldn’t do the job. But Johnson explained and showed us he had done it in many of his projects and we felt confident and comfortable at the project cost. Throughout the renovation, he kept us informed and was always accessible when we had questions. The crew moved along quickly and kept the premise clean and tidy throughout the project. He also worked on our master en-suite and gave us some inspiring ideas on the layout and utilization of cabinetry and design We were very happy with the craftsmanship and the overall result of the Reno. Our kids loved the extra space and refreshed look of our house. Project was on budget and the contract was clear in spelling out what was covered and what weren’t. Johnson was patient in explaining and discussing with us. He was open to our ideas throughout and was very helpful. I would highly recommend J&J to anyone looking to renovate (no Matter the size of the project). Even the after service jobs were great, minor touch ups etc. They were quick in getting it done.
