When it was time to enclose the porch on our 1920s home, I knew Rob was the right guy for the job. Restorative carpentry is his specialty, and my vision was an enclosure that looked original to a 1920s home. We met with Rob, shared our vision, and he completed a stunning renovation for us. The quality and craftsmanship he has demonstrated with this job is mind blowing. Rob is very easy to work with and full of great suggestions. While the project took a little longer than originally planned (lots of rain), it was spot on with the original estimate. He hand selects every piece of wood himself and spent many hours driving the GTA looking for quality lumber to ensure our front steps would be up to his standards! I experienced a moderate flood of water back through my basement toilet and shower, which entered by basement living space. I contacted DrainWorks immediately, and Armando arrived on site to video scope the line. It was discovered that the sewer line was obstructed by roots. This was a disheartening discovery, as the pipe had been replaced only 2 years ago by another plumbing company for the same thing. Armando outlined the probable causes, and we decided it would be best to dig up the basement floor and replace the pipe and several 'Y' connections. The team arrived the next day, and completed the job same day in a very professional and clean manner. I highly recommend DrainWorks.

I hired P&P to finish my basement after reading all of the positive reviews on HomeStars. I can honestly say these guys live up to all of the great reviews on this site. They helped us with some really great design ideas before the project started. We are extremely satisfied with the work that the team has done for us. Our project manager, Mauricio, completed the job with the highest level of professionalism and attention to detail. He communicated progress with us every day and kept us calm when he discovered our main sewer line under the basement was plugged with tree roots. He was able to replace the pipe at a very reasonable cost and get the project right back on schedule within a few days. At the end of the project, Mauricio touched up any small imperfections in the basement and cleaned up everything including the main floor where the materials were brought in every day. I highly recommend P&P, and I will be using them again. Our 2 small children love their new basement!!
