We did our “homework” we researched the type of furnace and air conditioner we wanted and then we researched who we wanted to install it. We did get a total of 5 quotes and believe me it was a huge learning curve for us but a very worthwhile endeavor. Acclaimed was our first choice for two reasons, first they sold the product (Trane) we decided that was the best choice in furnaces and air conditioning, second, Acclaimed, had an outstanding record for installation and service. We contacted Acclaimed and Dan came to our house to do an inspection and provide us with a detailed estimate. He was very professional and knowledgeable, not to mention a very nice person. After a few phone calls we came to an agreement and we purchased a full package of a brand new Trane variable speed furnace, new 3.5 ton air conditioner and a new humidifier. The first morning Chris showed up right on time and started on the dismantling and getting things prepared. I at once felt comfortable and realized that I was in good hands. Adam showed up about an hour later with the work truck loaded up with all our new home improvements. Let me tell you Adam is a professional. I went through a few quirky at least I thought they were quirky things about what I wanted and he assured me that all my concerns were “no problem”. That’s what I call service!! Adam and Chris were there all day and when I got home from work they were just cleaning up for the day. The second day Charles the air conditioner expert joined Adam and Chris. The three of them spent the entire day finishing off an outstanding installation job and at the end of the day gave us a run down on the operation of all our new equipment. I expressed that I was into overload on all the information and they told me that that was normal and that they were actually going to return to explain and show us the operation of the equipment and if we ever needed help, call at any hour!! They were going to show up this week but phoned to apologize that the person who was scheduled had family evacuating form the Fort Mac Murray fire and had to reschedule. I hope everyone is safe. Acclaimed has measured up to all the reviews that I have read and I would most confidently recommend them for you HVAC requirements.

We had Boris and his crew come in and replace our fornt living room bay window and upgraded our front entrance way as well as 4 windows that were in need of replacement. I had done research on various types of product and decided that Vinyl was the way we wanted to proceed. I was naturally concerned about the project as it was an expensive upgrade and I was also concerned that I wanted to keep the value of the product consistent with the value of my house, which is significant. We decided to split the project into 2, last year the more immediate replacements and the reminder to be decided dependent on our satisfaction. The level of sevice and quality of workmanship was excellent and left us very satisfied. The product itself was better than what I had anticipated , the new windows we had installed had no cold spots and compared to the wooden windows we didnt replace last year there was abig difference in the amount of cold air transferred into our house. I have contracted Vinyl Pro Windows this year to complete the excellent job they started for us last year. I would not hesitate to recomend Vinyl Pro Windows for windows or door installations.
