Giorgio responded very quickly to my request for help on a Sunday afternoon to assess my bathroom shower faucet problem, gave me a reasonable quote based on a few pictures and showed up next morning after picking up the parts he needed. He was very resourceful in addressing my very sticky problem without getting me to spend more money unnecessarily, which could have easily resulted in a more expensive/complex resolution. Giorgio knows his trades well and goes the extra mile to explain and work with you on what needs to be done, why and offers recommendations that saves time and money. He also put in extra effort, staying late to troubleshoot, identified my root cause and fixed it, which originally got me into my predicament, all covered under his original quote (great value received). Needless to say, I am more than a very happy customer and Giorgio would be my first go to person the next time I need help with projects/have issues with areas relating to plumbing, heating, drains and natural gas. My thermal window developed a cracked which needed the glass replaced. Benny was referred to me and did the job quickly and efficiently. No wasted time waiting around. He came after I got home from work, as agreed. No fuss, no mess good as new in 15 minutes. Good value, great service, highly recommended !

We had all our windows and doors re-caulked last summer. Unlike some of his competitors, Rimas called us back quickly and provided a very reasonable quote, and we commenced the project shortly. He and his crew did a fantastic job removing all the old caulking and putting in the new. I was very impressed with the speed of the progress and the workmanship (an expert craftsman); unlike the caulking job from the new homes in the neighborhood. They neatly cleaned up afterwards, completing the entire project in one day! Rimas provided a 10 year warranty for the work. That was last year, it still looks brand new today. I would recommend Rimas anytime....

Brent is truly a professional in the business of home inspection. He arrives on time as promised and conducted a very thorough inspection of the property, including accessing all hard to get at areas/corners (i.e. roof top and attic). He combs each area in great detail with multiple passes to ensure not a thing is missed. He does not skimp on the work just because the property is new or seems in good condition. On completion, we received a full written report along with an information binder on all aspects of the home, as well as all 98 photos taken during the inspection. Brent answered all my questions and highlighted areas of concern for follow up actions required. All in all, it was money well spent and we have piece of mind in purchasing this property. I would definitely recommend Brent and use his services again.

We had a mature tree in our front yard that was relatively close to the house as well as the neighbor’s house, providing us with cool shade for many years. Recently, its main branch developed a large crack that made it a liability, thus we call on CB Tree for their help. Craig responded promptly to my request for a quote and came over to assess whether we could save the tree and minimize the cost. He provided a very reasonable quote. I was impressed with his expertise and professionalism on the matter and prompt action to temporarily secure the large crack, to avoid further deterioration and mitigate risk, while he proceeded with the municipal paperwork for its removal. When the approval came through we scheduled his return to cut down the tree and to grind out the stump. Unfortunately, we ran in to some scheduling conflicts due to weather related emergencies, as Craig had to balance his availability in doing triage. We rescheduled the job and Craig and his crew quickly went about reducing our tree efficiently and safely without any impact to the surrounding properties. Craig was also nice enough to help me out with the surrounding landscaping and other miscellaneous requests to even things out a bit for a nominal sum, well below his regular rates. At the end, Craig and his crew did a great job disposing the tree and cleaning up the yard. By evening, our tree was gone and the stump was turned into wood chips filling in the hole. All in all I am very happy with the service and I would recommend CB Tree to all tree owners.

We were in the process of selling our house and wanted a professional/expert assessment on the discoloration of some basement insulation, which could have easily been mistaken for mold by a less qualify person and thus, jeopardizing the deal/selling price, based on the buyer’s home inspection. Ross from MoldServices.ca showed up at our house for the inspection. I was very impressed with his expertise on the subject and his explanation on the findings. He inspected the basement and the exterior foundation thoroughly for any problems with moisture/water intrusion and indication of mold. Fortunately, the house was in relatively good shape and I had mistaken some dirty vapor barrier and insulation, due to a leaky sill gasket, as potentially mold. His confirmation and the follow up inspection report put us at ease with the current state of our house. Although MoldService.ca does charge for their inspection ($150) in the event mold was not found and their Remediation Services is not required, it was worth spending the money for their expertise and to certify the property professionally. MoldServices.ca was actually our second inspection as a second opinion. The first inspection by a competitor told us we had mold (via their free inspection service). They provided an estimate at $1000+ for their Remediation and Treatment Services. The construction cost to replace/reinstall the insulation would cost extra. All in all I am very happy with the outcome and I will use MoldServices.ca again for the next house.
