They were organized, efficient, punctual, and extremely helpful. The crew were all super and cheerful and polite and I would definitely use them again. I loved that they sent an update at the end of every workday detailing what they had done that day and what was happening the next day. No contractors I’ve had in before for other jobs did this and I found it very reassuring since I was at work most of the time that they were on site. They turned my tiny, toxic bathroom into one that is pleasing - amongst other tasks, tearing out a mildewed ceiling and lowering it to the proper height, and installing new floor and surround tiles, which they helped me choose because I had no time to hunt for tiles. Thank you, fix it females!

I booked online for next-day service, a cheerful person called later to confirm - and the next day another cheerful person called to confirm and to ask if the team could come early. Love. No waiting around - they came, they cleared out an old storage room in about 30 minutes or less, and that was that. Love love love.

One night we started to hear electrical shorts behind a hallway wall in our old house - loud popping and crackling: very frightening! We immediately began to call around to find an emergency electrician to see what the problem was. We did find someone; however, we were not satisfied with the service, especially as the popping and crackling continued periodically. Hi Lite Electric was recommended to us by another company that could not come themselves, but passed on our information to Luciano at Hi Lite. He called us right away and arranged to come out the next day. Luciano and his son Matthew came and patiently spent hours tracing the problem to its source, then removing the wiring that was causing the scare without having to tear down walls (as another electrician had said would be necessary). They explained to us what they were doing all along, and why. Luciano even called us a week after they solved the problem, just to check in and make sure everything was okay. Luciano and Matthew will be back to more work for us and we have complete confidence in them. They are awesome!

Our roof had a hidden leak that was causing water to run down behind the walls of our old house. We had no idea - until the water started to play havoc with the wiring, causing electrical shorts and scaring us all. When the water started to come through the walls and ceiling on a weekend, we realized what was happening and started to call around to find a roofer that would come quickly. Some roofing companies offering 'emergency service' did not answer their phones, some couldn't come for days - until we called Pro Roofers. Slavik Kouchil from Pro Roofing came out on a Saturday evening, found the leak quickly and arranged to come back to fix the problem within a few days. He took pictures of the damage to show us and explained clearly what the problem was, giving us a reasonable estimate and emailing us the full breakdown of costs later on. He arranged to come back a few days later to do the job and kept his word. He and another roofer came when they said they would, and did a great job of repairing the damaged roof and cleaning up afterward. We are extremely pleased with the prompt service and quality of the work, and impressed with Mr. Kouchil's courtesy and efficiency, as well. Pro Roofing is definitely our go-to roofing company from now on.
