"I'm thrilled that you have a Facebook page so that I can leave this message for y'all! I just used GCVL to move from Burnaby, B.C. to London, Ontario. I was so nervous about moving as I had a dreadful experience with another moving company recently. I dealt mostly with Rick, who is very professional and pleasant to deal with, and then the driver who drove my belongings to Ontario was Daniel! I can't fully express how happy I am with this move. I have not completely unpacked yet but all boxes are opened so I could have a peek and NOTHING is broken or out of place. It was such a pleasure to deal with Daniel and see his smiling face when he arrived in London. The guy is a gem and he has a heart of gold! Thanks so much again for taking such great care with my belongings! The next time I move, I know who to call! "

Please do yourself a favour and do not use this company. Not only do I have damage to furniture, I'm missing my jewellery box and contents, all my personal documents which include cheques, past paid bills, income tax receipts, warranties for electronic devises, credit card info, a printer/scanner, all software for both my computers. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I was told I would have my belongs in seven days but it took 16 days. They have yet to return my missing items and although they told me that they contacted other people who they delivered to, I've spoken with other customers and they were never contacted about my property. Neither was I contacted about their property missing. The company refuses to talk to you over the phone to rectify the situation or at least help you find your property. I've now had to call numerous government offices and financial institutes to cancel everything in my name and have it all reissued. I don't think the previous reviews were authentic because too many people are complaining now. I'm not sure where the box has been but I'm very grateful to have it back as it contained all my software and personal documents etc. I'm also thankful that they did continue to look for my belongings, even three months after it went missing. Still hoping the second box shows up but I at least have this box.
